Absolutely NO, a business should be socially responsible. For it to actually run smoother and grow it should serve the society. For example consider a person running small stationary shop has a daughter giving self defence training somewhere can provide it for free for one day (women's day for example) near the shop (like a camp). This way the businessman will earn good name and also advertise his shop.

Hello Friends.
In my opinion business of business is business. I wanted to justify by saying my real life business situation. I am tutor, when I started saying tuition there were only 4 students. Then I made a strategy that if the students get less marks then I will give them the free tuitions, everyone were attracted and joined my tutorials. They believed me and this strategy.
Gave me a huge success.

First of all its my pleasure to share my views on this topic.
According to me no the business is not the business of only business because apart from profit there are certain other activities which are required to maintain a business which are goodwill, employee satisfaction, quality control all these things are not only for the personal motive these all activities are done as a social responsibility.

I think for all company is doing only business. They do something by the name of social responsibility it is not a social responsibility it is only a new idea of advertisement. If they understand social responsibility in such a way, they introduce minimum one product with no profit or very less profit for all mankind. Example parle-g product is available in 4-5 rupees last many years (40-45 rupees/Kg).

In my opinion, business of business is not only the business, it's true that one businessman try to get ultimate benifit from his business, but beside profit customer satisfaction is important. Always he should keep in mind the customers' satisfaction and demands. For long existance of any business, it is compulsory to fulfill the other responsibilities forward society and country to make them better.

Well the main idea behind any business is profit.
Take a look at the multinational companies who cross borders, language, and other obstacles to do business.
And yes IT IS ADVERTISING THAT ACTUALLY MAKES A BRAND.
With dedicated advertising channels to attract the customers and irresistible business offers and deals, the branded companies are literally ruling the earth.
What do you say friend?

Yes I am agree with above statement because today world all about customer satisfaction and their need and wants. Because customer is king of market. Without think about customer business will not run any more so every business is not only a business. The business just do what the customer think and then your business will go top in the market. Because today in the market have tough competition.

Hi friends.
Business of business is not only business but also some what ethics in it. For ex take eatable oil industry whit cares only on business like profit, sales it does not survive. Whenever it takes care on health perspective customer satisfy with it then only business survive. It expands their growth. Business of business is only business then anything will collapse easily.
Thank you.

As per my point of view, business of business is not the only business because businessman also live in society, earn from society, serve their product to society. So in replacement a businessman should have to fulfill their social responsibilities because whatever a businessman got, it was only from the society.
So "business of business is not only business" it is social responsibility too.

If business is about long term then pursuance of profit should not be the only objective rather satisfaction of stakeholders which also involves society. If even companies do CSR activities for branding they are serving to the society in a way which is a win win situation for both sides. To focus on long term growth, companies should broaden their view and think beyond profit objective only.
