Is the Business of Business only Business?

The business of business is not just business but also considering other stakeholders not just shareholders. Bringing value to the customers, employees, suppliers and society in which they operate. Operating ethically will ultimately result in huge profits as it leads to the corporation having a good reputation, customer loyalty, and increased employee morale which in turn leads to higher productivity. Businesses have a responsibility to all stakeholders therefore should create value for all of them. Corporate social responsibility is important for businesses.

Hello friends, listening to everyone views as customer satisfaction, social welfare, quality maintenance all are the part of business. Business obviously means minimizing cost for maximizing profit. This is all possible through customer satisfaction which is one of the most important pillar of business. And for profit generation one should keep on mind about social responsibilities as well so that no one could be against the business. Hence if customer and societies are in favor of business, there is profit. So, business of business is only business.

Business of Business is a business but business of business is not only a business. Nowadays, Business has realised its responsibilities towards society and are coming up with the concept of CSR. Now its has shifted its main goal from profit maximisation to wealth maximisation that is achieving higher market value in common stock, ensuring more consumer satisfaction and taking care of their needs. According to me, the business of business is not only business. The scenario has changed. People have many aims other than doing only business like profit making, expansion, social. Responsibility and many more. But if the business of business is only business then it's good because then that business would be able to give better product and service to it's customer. They will be more customer oriented and will keep there profit makin aim as a secondary job. This willnot only help an organization to get mstket penetration but Also to grow.

Hi everyone. I am totally convinced with the point that business ultimate goal is profit. Because no one has opened charity there. They are doing business so they want to make profit, I understand that they have to take care of thier good's quality in order to earn goodwill. Here they are also doing their business because they know if their product will not be of that standard they will be thrown out. Secondly. Hi Friends, According to me Business of Business is not only Business. Every Businessman is also a part of society. If he want to survive he must manage Himself according to this society. Otherwise society will through him out. And his business will ruin. But NOW a days Everyone want to earn more and more by hook or by crook. In this competition some times businessman will do things which is against the society. But he must remember if he will do this may be in starting he will get success but later he will realize his guilt.

Business is not only a business but it is a kind of education which no other profession teaches. It enhances the decision-making qualities, increases our awareness, etc. A business starts with an idea but works on planning. Planning to reach the demands of the customer. The customer is the judge of the king, and the business official does every effort in satisfying their king. Every business has a move of profit but prior to that is the satisfaction of customer. So business is not only a business but something more than that.

Yes, I strongly believe that Business of business is a business. Let me remind you that the main aim of a business is to earn maximum profit.

As we all know consumer (people) is the kingpin of the market. When a business indulges in CSR activities it creates a "GOOD BOY" image in in the eyes of which ultimately leads to increase in profit.

Let's take a simple example of a hospital. Hospital come under the category of a Nonprofit organization but we all know what actually happens in that NONPROFIT organization.

I am very glad to be a part of this discussion. According to me, the business of business only business is not just making a profit. Yes every businessman desire to make profit but when they do only business so they can not satisfy their customer as we all know customer is the king of the market when we don't know the need of the customer so we can't satisfy them and the most thing is CR customer relation what kind of relation with customer and they create customer loyalty and what kind of strategy we flow in our business.

HI friends I agree with all. But my opinion is ya business are only business cos there is no ethics in doing business and only commercialization is only thing now a days. Cos no one is providing the products free of cost to any one. If it could be not only business or profit then private companies would provide there products free of cost to people who can't afford their product. Ya I agree eraser is free with pencil for example. But the cost of eraser is also fetched form cost of pencil. So its only business. Thanks.
