As my point of view, social media plays a crucial role in our life. It has both advantages and disadvantages that depends on the user.

The advantage of social media is:
It is mostly helpful for students to gain the knowledge and it connects the people globally which helps to transfer the information very easily and fastly.

The disadvantage of social media is:
We are using some entertainment applications like instagram and facebook which has both advantages and disadvantages.
Now a most of the people are addicted to this applications.

Social media is connecting us with people who are either far away from us or whom we don't even know. In one way, we get to know about other people, their customs and traditions, etc but it leaves very little time to spend with the ones we are close to thus, disconnecting us from them. With the help of social media, we can connect with the government as well. We can share our opinions, feedback on the services they provide or the work they do. Thus, it is a way to connect with the government. Companies can connect with their customers and promote their offering.

As we all know, everything has two sides, either good or bad, but it all depends on you how you use it. If we see it in good terms, it helps a lot to connect different people from different cultures, minds. It means that it allows us to grow our way of thinking.

Now we come to the negative side, as sometimes we connect with some scammers or bad people who ruin our life in terms of money, privacy, and mental health by scamming us.

So we have to connect with people very carefully and wisely.

In positive We can see that people engage with the other people and growth their network some time this ma help in growing their business but on the other hand their are many people who try to scam other people through social media and sometime they succeed which lead to grow their boost and they do more crime.

So, at the end, I want to say that social media also helps in growing their network, but we should use social media platforms actively.

My thoughts on this topic are related to many of you I think in today's modern world social networking is the essential thing because if you are not using this for your business or daily work you might be far behind too many people.

Who can grow more than you by using that, so yes social networking is important but we also know the disadvantages of this it can be harmful sometimes like scammers can theft our online data and they can harass you.

So, in my opinion, social networking is good for the society we all are living in.

If we consider the olden days, there is no proper medium for the propagation of messages, so people used to make use of sparrows for transmitting messages over long distances. Nevertheless, now if we click on a button, the transmission takes place within no time. With the advent of cutting-edge technologies, everything got altered. People are connected, Irrespective of the place and distance between them because of most happening social media platforms.
