Guys its right management is both art and science. But the part of art is heavy because even if the person know the principles of management which is scientific part but he do not have the art to deal with such principles he can't manage a business. So art is very important.

Hi, friends, I believe that management is an art because it is the process of getting things done efficiently and effectively by integrating the work of other people. A Manager must be skillful in order to managed resources of an organization to achieve goals and objectives.

Science -> Science is the systematized body of knowledge where things, phenomena are to study our through people observation to make theories principles.
Art -> Art is a practical approach or application of the body of knowledge.

Management is both science and art. Science because it uses figures, graphs and other statistical methods in order to solve organisational problems. Art because it uses skills, experiences, and attitudes, not hard and fast rules, to solve organisational goals.

Management is both science as well as arts because science is systematised body of knowledge whereas art is systematised application of knowledge. We all know that to succeeding management must acquire the knowledge of science & the art of applying it.

It is an art in the sense that he/she requires to handle it with the employees socially and a science because the manager has to apply some science fields like statistics and biology in terms of data collection and the application of knowledge.

Management is art but not purely science because like art management also involved personal skill, continuous practice and creative thinking but we cannot say that management is purely science because as a science it cannot based on same experiments.

Management is art as well as science because it involves the element of arts like the capability of the person and their approach towards the given task. & the tools and function refers to science while to apply those is actually refers as art.

I think Management is an art as well as science also because, while doing the work in management field you are both types of thinking or process are used. We are used in emotionally, psychologically it is also art to handle the persons.

In my concern management is an art of getting things done through others. So it is both science and art because science have some knowledge of universal practicable and art have have some personal skill. So both characters shows in management.
