Hi, every one according to me management is a science because Management is systemized body of knowledge that explains certain general truths or the operation of general laws. It is based on cause and effect relationship based on principle.

Because management has got two faces like a coin on one side it is an art and on other side it is science. Management has got scientific principles which constitute the elements of science and skills and talent which are attributes of art.

For me, management is both science and arts.
The good management is a balance of both science and art. Science establishes general principles that guide organizations, while the art of human skill puts those principles to their best use.

In my point of view, the management is an art because in any company middle level people and top level people they have a knowledge about management but there is only one manager he knows the tactics and art. So management is an art.

Though I don't know much as an economist knows, I thought, Management is both an art and science because it uses certain principles as a science and it requires continuous practise to ensure the based possible results as an art.

Hi friends.
In my point of view, management is both art and science, because art requires knowledge, skills and creativity. And science uses theories, principles, mathematical modeling and statistical data.

Management is an art with a blend of science. In management, expression of human creativity are needed which is ART and combine observation and experimentation to describe and explain task, which is SCIENCE.

Management is both an art and science in my side. As a science, it seeks to know variables that affect performance and as an art, it uses the function of coordinating to determine the performance of workers.
