Is India ready for Electric Vehicles?

In my point of view, India is not ready for electric vehicles. Because India is a developing nation. It has a lack of infrastructure for EVs. Roads are not suitable for running electric bikes or any other vehicles.

Secondly, younger people will not show interest in purchasing electricity because they will not fulfil their needs of them. Youngsters love racing bikes or cars. Electric bikes or cars have lacking in speed.

In my point view, electric vehicles are very useful for today's life and also good for our environment because that does not create air pollution but electric vehicle's cost is very high so when people don't have more money they can't buy the vehicles. That is only the appointment of electric vehicles price and also sometimes electric vehicles could be not safe because suddenly burn to fire electric vehicles. I say electric vehicles are safe for our world but not safe for humans in some time.

According to my view, point some somewhere it has some advantages or disadvantages.

Advantages.

1) it is eco-friendly:- as we know the Situation of Delhi what's the level of pollution is there.
2) It is a one-time investment:- As we know the cost of Petrol every day the price of petrol is increasing so it is like a one-time investment.

Disadvantages.

1) A charging station is not available everywhere.
2) It is not for long distances.
3) Speed is not as compared to normal bikes.
4) Heating issues as we know the situation of Ola scooties.
5) Costly affair: It is costly not everyone easily gets it.

In conclusion, India is still not fit for EVs.

In my opinion, EVs are good for developing countries like India, but Indians need more confidence when buying items. Therefore, If EVs have alternative solutions, everyone will like them.

What is that?
EVs should be manufactured with battery and petrol facilities. Everyone likes them, so there is a chance to increase sales. According to Indian psychology, confidence is more important than cost.

To know whether India is ready for EVs or not, people should first understand what EVs are. Unlike conventional petrol or diesel vehicles, EVs use one or more electric motors for propulsion. EVs have a battery that is charged through an electricity supply.

EVs are not only "Environmentally friendly" but also "Cost-Effective" as the Government of India incentivizing the use of EVs by providing subsidies and lower motor taxes on EVs.

However, we also cannot ignore that electric charging stations are not available everywhere in India except for some metropolitan cities like Delhi, Mumbai, etc. For this reason, they are not suitable for long-distance travel.

Conclusion:
EVs in India are still in the developing stage, and the government, as well as the original equipment manufacturers (automotive industry) , are promoting them to create an eco-friendly environment and cost-effective journeys for passengers.

Hi Everyone, though I feel their is a big need for India to move on to Electric Vehicles it is not at all the right time I feel. If u ask their is a need ? Yes. Is India Ready? No. Why?

1. Do we have enough power stations with enough capacity to charge these vehicles if we replace fuel driven ones by the ones powered by electricity ?

2. Can we use electricity that much without running out of it ? If India is able to properly make electricity out of renewable sources, Yes we can. But for that we have to first work on developing Electricity generation economically, viable and easily through renewable sources first.

3. Are the electric vehicles ready for the Indian customers ? I don't think so.

Recently I have heard my friends and colleague's continuously complaining on how their is a need to repair or do some kind of work on the electric vehicles on a very frequently basis to make that machine work the way it is supposed to be.

Yes, India is ready for electric vehicles. There are many advantages of using electric vehicles, it is echo friendly. It reduces air pollution. In India due to fuel vehicles air pollution is very large. Due to Air pollution thousands of deaths occurs. India is ready for this electric evolution but government should focus on this side like establishment of electric vehicles charge station, and price should be less.

No, Electric cars are not yet practically possible because as many people prefer petrol and diesel cars. After all, we can simply refuel and travel for long-distance journeys without any major breaks and all, but coming to electric cars firstly there is no charging stations established and electric cars are not suitable for long rides.

And there are many fire accident cases due to the climatic conditions.

As we all know electric vehicles are environment friendly they are not releasing any kind of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and methane. According to me, India is ready for electric vehicles because we have seen the demand for electric vehicles increasing year on year and at the same time electric vehicles are also providing them with good features. And I recently read one article in a business standard newspaper which states that companies are also making efforts to increase their efforts towards electric vehicle production. Some names of the companies like.

Maruti Suzuki has a plan to become the biggest electric vehicle producer in all of India including both cars as well as two-wheeler vehicles.

TATA Motors is also planning to separate its entities into two forms or two entities in which one is liable for producing the electric vehicle and the other is liable for producing the fuel vehicle.

So, we can say that India is ready for such tremendous change which also helps our environment.

As we all know electric vehicle is good for the environment and eco-friendly.

It also does not produce any greenhouse gases, such as carbon monoxide. However, the lack of infrastructure for charging stations in India makes travelling longer distances challenging.

Sometimes due to the climatic conditions change it will produce fire accidents and create a very harmful situation.

So in my point of view, it is safe for the world but unsafe for the human.
