According to the 2011 census of India 68.84% of Indian (around 833.1 million) people's lives in 6,40,867 different villages.
It's true that 60% of the population depends on agriculture but it is a worry that agriculture contributes only 23% of our GDP.

For,
- Indian Villages where actual India lives is our greatest strength.
- We all who are living in metropolitan cities are dependent on them for our living.
- India is an agricultural country and 70% of the population who are engaged in this profession are living in villages.
- Many of us who are now living in metropolitan cities are originally coming from villages.
- All the well-known names like Ratan Tata, Lakshmi Mittal, Dhiru Bhai Ambani etc who have made a mark in the world have also come from the Indian villages.
- There are many talented and bright minds in Indian villages who have the capability to change the face of India.
- Villages are the backbone of India without them India might have to face food shortage. All other industries are also dependent on villages for their raw materials.
- The production units of any big company are found at some small places owing to the low cost of infrastructure and abundance of labour.
Against,
- The level of education in Indian villages is very low.
- There are less number of job opportunities in villages.
- As the whole word is technologically advanced but Indian villages are still lacking in this area.
Our Indian villages can be our greatest strength if the rural markets and the kind of talent available there are capitalized in a proper way. The government should take steps in order to improve the condition of Indian villages because the development in Indian villages will change the face of India.

There is no doubt that our villages are our strength.
Our 75 percent GDP depends on villages. But this is the time to improve our strength. Agriculture mainly depends on irrigation and precipitation of rain is not uniform in our country and to solve this problem we should save the water with water harvesting technique.
And in village lots of water were wasted by flood irrigation so, in place of flood irrigation, our villagers need to adopt drip irrigation.
Some crops required more water and some requires less so crop rotation is also required.
We need to make the villagers smart, village will automatically become smart.

Hi friends.
India is the country with so many villages. Villages are more important for any countries development. Villages in India ensure great ethical and cultural values. India without villages cannot be imagened people in the country will be unethical and there will be lack of justice and equality. Villages provides everything to the people in the cities especially food according to the increasing population. Moreover great human relationship's can be seen in Indian villages that helps to the country to go in a correct and justified way.
So villages are strength to India. Without villages there is no India.

Yes, Indian villages are our strength. In fact, not only Indian communities, every person in this world, of any caste, religion, is incomplete without other persons. The key to every success is the strength of all persons working together.

Hello everyone.
There are few points where we can say that village are our strength. Since we know more than seventy percent people live in village and our most of economy based on agriculture. So villages are the main resource to get our bread and butter. Villagers are real identity of India where we get actual scenario of India. Unfortunately Indian villages do not have that short of resources and ample development as it should be. The government should make awareness programme in urban areas so that new generation should not migrate to the urban area and accommodate themselves in agriculture. By using technology we can grow more and more crops. India is popular from any kind of crops. So all these are facts to understand with clarity. Villages are having very good air to breath. They are less polluted we feel to close with nature in village.

Gandhiji said-real India lies in villages. 70% of India's population lives in villages. The gdp of India consists of agriculture industry and services sector where in the first 2 sectors rural population contribute the most. The Rural population is engaged in agriculture which feeds all of us. At the time of independence India was a food import country but now India not only satisfies its own population but also exports much essential food produce. Rural India maintains India's ecology. The rivers ponds greeneries are a balance against populated Indian cities. So these villages are the strength of India. But due to govt negligence towards rural population, it could not reveal its true potential. If given proper education infrastructure and healthcare facilities these rural population can catapult into the robust workforce for prime minister's make in India initiative. Thank you.
