Indian Army as a Career Option

After finishing the schooling or graduate programmes, every man should earn for his own life or his family. If he wish to serve and protect his father, mother, brother, sister, wife, son, daughter, even the friends and relatives, then why should he miss the chance to serve and protect our nation (our motherland). If any one wish to say that you are proud to be an Indian, then you should serve for our country in the most prestigious Indian Army. As we are Indians, we say our country to be our mother, my father born nation, 'all are my brothers and sister', then why should we take our career in Indian Army then serve and safeguard our vast relationships and friends belongs to you and your motherland. At-last, "Though, a terrorist who can sacrifice his life for taking the life's of 1000 innocent people, why can't we give our single life for safeguarding 1000 Indians" Serve the country. Well good morning gentleman,

A very useful topic for discussion for youth of our country. In today's era every youth not only of India but from foreign are attracted towards his needs i.e. to earn huge salary but we all are getting diverge form our true service to the nation by becoming an armed force member. I want to lay the following lines that why we must choose Indian army as a career option:-

1. Indian army is a service of total devotion, sacrifice and honor and prestige.

2. Armed force services are the one of the most transparent service in the world.

3. Indian army is not the army of old days of 1971, it has been modernist to a far extent.

4. Our army provides you better opportunity to enhance your personality.

5. Provides you better pay and perks to think about your family.

6. Wearing a uniform and serving the nation gives pride and honor.

7. Indian army is well linked with the annually exercise with superpowers like united states, Russia, France and Germany.

Indian army is the one of those career options where you can not only make your parents proud but also serve the nation and its people. It takes courage to chose this a your career option as in it your passion and efforts cannot equalize the money you get. These army people are so much selfless and ambitious in their work that they don't even care if they get shot. Yes, not only they but their families are also very strong. Imagine that at any moment your someone dear in the army can get killed and you have to live in that horror every day and night. Army people have a tough life even off the battlefield. They get nightmares and the sound of gunshots echoes in their ear every second. Believe me friends, they are the real heroes of the nation and no Bollywood star can even enact their life story. But are we doing enough for them?

So if we really want to reciprocate then we should draw inspiration from them and fight with the same courage for the country as them!

Army is the greatest job in my opinion, army soldier's are like real super hero but only the difference is that superheroes has super power, but instead of having superpowers army soldier have braveheart, kind nature and an army soldier is not scared of death, an army man don't do care of his life, his motherland is before his life, life of people living in his nation is before his life.

He gets only 90 days holiday in a year whereas a common man gets 190 days holiday in a year, he wants to look sensational he's happy to serve his life to his motherland soldiers who are sent to rajasthan stand on the border in blazing sunlight to protect us from enemies, soldier's who are in siachen stand on the in -30 degree temperature.

But we don't them we think that what is army, we should respect them, you on the border daily more than 15 soldiers die. I'm a student of class 6. A grand salute from me to all army soldiers "jai hind" mera desh mahan.

'SERVICE BEFORE SELF' is far more than a motto. This iconic global motto is a dynamic tool that makes you understand the whole defence system at once.

Some work to earn their living while some sacrifice their lives to maintain favourable conditions to let others live peacefully. These defenders are none other than the ARMY of any nation.

Making it particularly in the context of The Indian Army, one of the strongest armed forces in the world, gives an opportunity to the aspirants to serve the nation at a very young age. Indian Army can be the best career option for someone who is selfless, who is desperate and dedicated enough to serve the nation no matter what.

So, if you crave to see a well-protected and strong India, pave your way to being one of its many great defenders.

While on the way just remember Capt. Manoj Kumar Pandey said - “Some goals are so worthy, it's glorious even to fail ”.

Firstly, we shouldn't considered Indian army as an option. It should be considered as a choice, a wish, a dream that most of us think of but only some of them will make it worth.

"Service before self".

This is the motto of Indian army. These are just three simple words but it tells a lot about defence lifestyle. The soldiers are trained such that they can survive in any condition, any sort of environment. They put their service, their responsibility towards their nation before themselves. Their brain, heart and each single nerve is strongly dedicated towards nation. Such a dedication is needed though.

Everything about Indian army is special. It is not a matter of money or government service. It is a matter of pride and respect.

I personally believe that Indian army must be someone's first thought. We will live for our nation and will die for our nation because nation comes first before all.

As an Officer:

It can be referred as one of the best job in India. But it's a job that meant for brave hearts, those who have leadership capabilities. Army is providing facilities that cannot be matched by any organization in the country. You will get handsome Pay and perks and respect in society.

As an enlisted:

To be fair, my answer will be NO, Because army is not that much into welfare of personal below officer ranks. Low salary, slow promotion and more harassment, that's only they are getting. I have seen lot of enlisted, they all wanted to leave their job, but they are continuing only because they are from poor background. But they are brave and willing to do anything for the nation.

But the situation is slowly changing as many educated people are joining army nowadays. So may be in future things may become better and army would realize that these class are the backbone of army and should be treated well.

Good my dear friends you all have written your views about Indian Army.

Friends every parent and individual itself think to do something in life which gives name, fame and money.

As for as my concern if you join Army as your career option it shows your thinking towards other is different.

Army provides better life to soldiers, provide challenges. Ensure your physical and medical fitness and also provides these facilities to your family too.

It's our moral duty to do something for our country where we take birth.

For its Army is best option.

If you are soldier. You are not only the hero of your family but you become hero of the nation.

A real soldier always get respect every where because of his selfless, dedicated service for the people of his country.

I salute Indian brave soldiers day and night and get inspired by their brave deed.

"Indian Army" as a career option! Why not?

Before beginning, I would like to introduce myself that I am working in MNC & 2 times SSB (service selection Board) Repeater. According to me, Indian Army is not a career option but its the WAY OF LIFE. Having been in the environment of defense, even though with my shorter duration, I have got accustomed to this disciplined and confident way of life. Its very much inspiring seeing this mighty officers wearing elegant uniforms and shiny medals, with confident voice and amazing personality. Serving for one's country is apparently every countryman's duty, but being in army, you are actively being part for serving that purpose makes you feel special always.

As Indian Army asks, "DO YOU HAVE IT IN YOU?", If you have it then at least once have the experience of SSB, It can definitely enhance your perception about your life.

Indian army is definitely a career option! It is opted by not wise but mad people, mad for country, mad in the sense, ready to even take or sacrifice own life. Making other professions as your career is common and most of them which are chosen generally, help you make money, lead a well settled life And lastly and also partly Serve the nation. But army makes you serve the country first, and also give you other benefits that other careers give you, and even gives even more-a defined Status in the society.

As we are born in this country it is our duty to serve it well and as army is giving us that wonderful opportunity, then why not choose it as a career?

If you are taking back because you may die serving in army, then let me tell you, either way you are gonna die so, then why not for a reason, the reason of serving your motherland, doing your duty towards it.
