Death is obviously certain, no body in the world can escape from death. But certainty of tax is a relative term For eg : Wrt India everybody have to pay taxes, but in middle east countries like saudi arabia there are no taxes.

Hi Friends,
Death and Taxes are certain things. I would say that everything is planned in this whole world; not by a human being but by God. It's just unpredictable.
Thanks.

First one is the rule of nature, in which every creature of world abides/bind to follow the rule. No one can escape from this rule. It means it is certain, at some point of your life, you must have to die but it is uncertain that when it come, and where?
In second case tax.
An amount we pay to government, as per the rule,
Here we also abide to follow this rule, but the diff is that we can escape from this situation by doing fraud by going against the rule. But in case of death, there is no escape plane. Tax is also uncertain with time (it may increase or decrease in sense of pay scale).

Death, This is the only thing one can't escape from. Whether it is a person sleeping on the footpath or even president Obama. Everyone will die one day.
Life is fake but Death is the Ultimate Truth.

Yes, I agree that In Today's World, Everything is Uncertain except Death & Taxes. Both are law, one is natural law and other one is human law. Its the same as negotiation skill methodologies. Except death and law everything in the world is negotiable.

Really a very good creative topic for discussion. What I believe is that in today's world even deaths & taxes are also uncertain. As one never no when death comes and as the central power changes the taxation polices also becomes uncertain.
This uncertainty in today's world is due to our self centred thinking. One thinks of his/her own self, as student are thinking of being placed just for money, Political parties are more concerned about their probability of getting more votes. Parents are concerned only for the success of their own children through any means & finally we all are fighting to maintain peace among our own countries no matter what happens to the environment who created this whole world.
Today's world could become stable & certain but for that we all have to be open minded in spite of narrow minded. We all should be one instead of many.
Thank you.

Death is certain no one can avoid it. If we are born on this planet we have to get perish with time that is inevitable. Like wise when we are born in a country we are the citizens of that country and we need to contribute something from our earnings to the govt for the development of our own nation. So paying taxes is also certain. So the matter in question that in today's world everything is uncertain except death and taxes is a true one and I agree with it. Thank you.

As per my thought!
It is fixed law of nature, that death is sure who takes born once and taxation is a another fixed law of our government who earns more than a particular amount of money.
So purpose of both same, to live in the life cycle.

I agree to this nothing is ceartain except death and tax... like since you are born now so one day you have to die same with if you are earning so you have to pay the tax.... that's a compulsion else there 2 things we cant confirm assure anything to anyone or even to ourselves.

Death and taxes are certain because the people who are living have to do this both. And all other things are uncertain as they are not compulsory in the world but this.
Certain things are interdependent on each other according to Times India if every rich person in India pay tax correctly more than half of the poverty can be reduced so everyone should do these two things perfectly so these are certain.
