Foreign Television Channels are Destroying Our Culture

Hi guys I think foreign TV programmes are not destroying our culture. It depends upon us than what we take and what we take. And bad things are everywhere and good things are everywhere bu t instead of bad thinks there are many good behaviour person in our society. So we want think it no one can not destroy our culture whenever we don't want thanks.

I am totally Disagree with the topic.

As it is not the foreign channels which are destroying our culture. Its us only.

We are adopting every wrong from where ever we get. We have become brain less. And after any wrong result is seen than we blame foreign channels, westernisation.

The fact is we are coward enough not to take the responsibility of our deeds by ourselves, so intend to blame others for our not so good behaviour.

We have already destroyed the very essence of our culture, we have forgotten the morals and values, so what is left here in our country to be destroyed by any channel.

We always neglecting the good things to be adopted rather go for the wrong ones.

Aren't we mature enough to distinguish between good or bad.

So ultimately it's up to us which side of coin we want to see.

If foreign channels can be accused of spreading bad taste to the delicate minds of our youngsters then give me a reason of not blaming Indian mythologies to stimulate public to carry out the shittiest cultures like polygamy, dowry, physical assault, rapes and so on. Because its totally Indian.

If something seems to be very much indigenous causing problems carried out through long time we hardly could imagine to hoarsely protest against it, just because its belonged to the local geographical area where we have been used to live in since long.

Just put a glance over Linga puja thriving in India where as no other country barely think of pampering such bad practices going on in massive scale as religious beliefs. Just watch Ramayana where Rama relinquish his beloved consort in a doubt that she might be touched by some uneven aspect, still we worship that character as a god in a hidden desire that someday if we could smite our girls the way he as we thought did.

Even Mahabharata we show explicitly the worst fortune suffered by two women namely Radha and Droupadi by their lover and relatives the way which we glorify as our pride. There is no dearth of examples set in Indian mythologies showing violence, incest, demoralization immensely we hardly count them. If sexuality are supposed to be as bad as worth paying nothing but immense disgrace, then how could you guys flag ancient temples like Khajuraho and Koark which promotes nudity and eroticism hugely as our national pride.

If you guys wants to go for subjugating foreign shows promoting violence which you jerks blamed for spreading the sense of inhuman intolerance among youngsters then my question to you is how could those illiterate people, from the villages who never been in such a situation to afford television sets or cable channels to get connected, be so violent?

And those shittiest TV serials emphasize on frail characters as a good and ideal one who can do nothing but futile moaning and weeping with petty sentiments. Why not they show some strong women who fights with boys. Why your Indian TV serials fend off from reality and choose to live in utopia?

According to my opinion foreign channels are not at all destroying our culture. They are the one of the means of learning foregin languages and knowing their culture. Morever, people in India need to know outside culture as most of the Indian countries are doing business with western companies. And in addition to it, if children in India are adopting the western culture so it is of concern with upbringing of their parents.

I don't think that foreign channels are destroying our culture. Infact it providing us various technical knowledge which Indian channels are not able to providing due to budget etc. You can see there are so many Indian channels are there which providing some uncensored kind of programs. So it depend on one how he would take it. Foreign cartoon channels providing more knowledgeble programs by which children can learn some basic things of schooling & they can aware of various things. So I would say that foreign television channels are not destroying Indian culture rather they are providing more appropriate channels.

Well, . It depends upon on the person whether he or she wants to imbibe a positive or negative. Do you think it right to put blame on others for all our wrong actions? What is happening in our society is all because of us, not because of any person or any foreign channels. There are so many good channels which is useful for our development. So everyone try to grasp positive things from the channels.

I am also a youngster and according to me, what I think it is only depends on the state of our mind that how we perceive it and I do not think that foreign channels are destroying our culture or devouring our rules of India. We are living in a modern world so we should adopt broad thinking, not only this we should open our minds in a new direction making our own rules by committing some mistakes and of course adopting a positive attitude towards things and even with the foreign channels also. As I have implement this in my life when I was at the teenage and mark my words that day and this day has brought a lot of changes in my life.

Even you try this in your life. You will yourself get to know the changes yourself. And share it with us also.

In my opinion, we, the indians are totally respnsible for destroying our culture not the foreign t.v. channels ,because we are the humans and we must have to know that what is right and what is wrong. These t.v. channels are promoted by ourselves, their TRP's raising due to us ,so why we are watching such type of channels if i think that it destroys our culture .

Well, I don't think that foreign channels are destroying our culture. Depends on the type of movie. Vulgar scenes and double meaning dialogues definitely harm the society especially young children but there are many movies which encourage us to think from new perspectives.

No, your think is wrong, some channels are sometimes presence in your way. But most of the media's are as a good teacher for improve our knowledge.

Everything what Foreign Television Channels are giving us, till great extend it is enhancing our knowledge like giving us good channels eg. Discovery, national geography, history channel, animal planet and so on.

Talking in favour of the topics I would say yes Indian culture is somewhat affected by the foreign television channels. Though the picturisation, graphics and finally telling the moral of the episode is best of all other television channels along with that some of these foreign TV channels simply attracts the viewers because of their various beauties of presentation.

But, the purity of India is its culture like obeying our elders, respecting senior citizen, knowing about the wrong and right thing from our inner soul which at times tells us not to do the thing which it feels incorrect or wrong is somewhat easily affected by that great western culture TV channels.

Since the great religion tells the beauty of the world simply by their beautiful and sensible words (Such as The Mahabharata, Indian Vedas, The Bible, Quran etc) and not by any vulgarity.
