Foreign Television Channels are Destroying Our Culture

Well, . It depends upon on the person whether he or she wants to imbibe a positive or negative. Do you think it right to put blame on others for all our wrong actions? What is happening in our society is all because of us, not because of any person or any foreign channels. There are so many good channels which is useful for our development. So everyone try to grasp positive things from the channels.

What kind of culture here we are talking about? I mean guys, just think about it. The quality content which we can get from BBC, can we expect that from India TV? definitely not. I am not saying all Indian channels are bad, but foreign channels are providing us the kind of information we need, we get to know whats happening around the world. We are not interested in knowing what a sadhu is doing or teaching, right?

As it has been said, I am totally in favor of foreign channels as I think they have more humor, information which we can't expect from any Indian channel.

Is there any science related or technology related channel in India ? no there is not, but there are few foreign channels which are making us more knowledgeable in every aspect. Here you can find more than 20 religious channels but not even 1 where we are provided with stuff which actually makes us a good human being. People do big talks, but I think its what we perceive that matters. Today in India they is a huge number of people who have open mind to each and every aspect of society which wasn't the case earlier. So I think we all can see that no matter what we talk about foreign channels are indeed making us more wise by opening are narrow mindedness.

Firstly, foreign televisions are making the minds of youths vulnerable and they are adopting foreign culture forgetting their parents, culture and traditional values.

Secondly, foreign televisions are making people's mind disturbed and aggressive. They are adopting illegal methods to earn money instead of working hard and efficiently.

Thirdly, foreign television creates a differential attitude in all the youths since they are not believing in the concept of unity thus making the country full of illegal and addition of divide and rule policy in all over the world.

Well, I don't think that foreign channels are destroying our culture. It depends on the thinking of the viewers that how do they interpret the material being viewed on these channels. Now a days the more vulgar stuff is being shown in Indian television shows and Indian movies. Foreign channels like discovery, fox travelers, tlc etc are good channels which gives knowledge about the earth, the people and different cultures all around the world. These can also help in improving communication skills which are very necessary these days.

If we really compare in term of knowledge, then foreign television is much better then Indian because the technology they are using is much advanced. If you talking about their dressing. Then its people rights to wear what they like. Culture can't be destroy. This question is arise just because for young generation. Young people of India wants to be advanced like other country. But beside this journey you can't neglect your own culture.

I accept that lots of Indian television Channel like balika vadhu and more others they don't have a story without weeping.

Old people think that it is a part of culture but young generation knew that it's fake or just a idea to get TRP.

Macauley had done enough damage in revamping our education system in introducing English (even though English is a spoken language by 3% minority people all over world) to such an extent that patriotism will never come up for another hundreds of years or rather thousands of years by their policy of divide & rule, which is carried further by any political party for their Vote bank politics. Foreign intruders/invaders have seen to it in thousands of years in the past that no remnants of glorious history in Vedic period remains so that future generations will live with distorted history with slave mentality nurtured by the Westerners in Indian minds.

While handing over freedom, Westerners have seen to it that power is not shared by nationalists like Vallabhbhai Patel etc but purely by their Kala Angrez agents like Nehru since 1947 itself. Indian homes are flooded with foreign branded goods due to brainwashing advertisements over TVs to such an extent that swadeshi goods have lost their identity. Due to paid media in India, now what is remained to harm India & it's culture, even if no Foreign Television Channels are not telecast ?

I don't think foreign channels are spoiling our culture. Why are we just considering the bad things why can't we take up the good things they are offering. Nowadays spoken English and a good vocabulary is all we need to become the jack of all hearts. And we are often suggested to watch English news channels and some other English channels to improve our English. Some English channels are updating us with the recent technologies round the world. We can even get to know their way of living. We can adopt their work culture. And who is asking us to adopt their culture. Its totally up to us what we choose to adopt and what not.

Nowadays the cable operators have come up with the set top box system where we are given the facilities to choose just the channels we would like to watch. Then why can't we strike off the channels showing any harmful contents. Or simply stop watching them. We have many things to learn from them so choose the good and leave the rest.

I don't think foreign tv channels are destroying our culture. We always have a habit of putting blame on someone or the other for each degradation we face either in our life or in society. But what we forget is, it is us who is responsible for everything. If these channels are showing something which we feel is destroying our culture we should not follow it. After all we are educated Indians who can understand what is good and what is bad. What these channels are showing is there culture which anyways we should understand can't be blindly followed. But what our channels are showing is it our culture. ?

Hello guys, I think every one have rights show there opinion, compare foreign TV channel to our TV channel both are have some good and some bad parts. It is fully depend upon to ourselves which side we take, if we take the bad parts of channel so, it is bad for ourselves or we take good parts of those channel so, it is good for us and the sentence is foreign TV channel only destroying our culture it is not true, we are also destroying our culture first we need to think in ourselves how much we are confidence to our culture and how much respect we are giving to our culture after that blame others and last word I want to say our culture is best culture nobody can destroying it.

Every coin having two side advantages and disadvantages means how it taking for benefit and useful means we use foreign channel for getting extra knowledge and leave it unnecessary things which are not important not need.
