Agriculture is the backbone of our economy. To develop our country we have to double our farmer's income with the following support. Introduce the Direct Farmers Benefit Scheme so that they can get better quality of seed free of cost. Soil testing to be done on a regular basis.
To take the position of Farmers Agriculture Development Officer to visit the field on a daily basis. Our Farmers are sincere and dedicated. Use scientific methods with modern technology. Market and MSP, storage facilities, transportation and reuse of agriculture wastage definitely double our Farmer's income.

Good afternoon to all of you.
My name is Shubh Patel.
With your permission, I will start a group discussion.
According to my opinion, in five years, farmer income will not double.
Because there are many reasons.
The government make many policies, scheme and other benefit but farmer is not aware of these. So these are not fully utilised by the farmer. In 2016 Government also made a target in 2022 for farmers to double their income but it did not happen. But the Government is making many tries to increase income. Farmer Land Holding capacity is also decreased so production is decreased, the water level is decreased, more pesticide usage than resistance in the pest, and climate change also affects farmer income.

I believe that India be able to double the farmer's income in the next five years our prime minister Mr. Narendra Modi said to double the farmer's income on the 75 Independence of India but until then the farmers should adopt good farming technology to produce good results the government Should also provide enough money to farmers to meet their needs for farming.

Hello friends,
I'm glad to share my thoughts on this current agriculture topic.
In our country as of now, it is not possible to farmers income will be double in the next 5 years due to several reasons day by day land holdings of farmers are deceased farmers are not aware of new technology, farmers only depend on single farming practices and they are not using integrated farming practices which is the main source of better resources allocation in farm and well utilisation of all resources.
Doubling a farmer's income is a collaborative practice, for the accomplishment of that target farmers and the government both have to work hand in hand which government provide new technology to farmers and also provides different subsidies for purchasing agri inputs and machinery, giving better price for the produce of farmers.
If farmers and government both work collaboratively then in future it may be possible to farmers income will be double.

In india, there is no fix agriculture policy, first of all we have to settle this. Second thing is that by not only increased prices of crops will going to help farmers because due to inflation they will not increase their buing capacity. Rather than we have to introduce new and efficient technologies to farming that reduce the wastage of crops and increase the production rate.
Another thing is that we have to strengthen our system to provide the MSP to correct people, not to traders.
We should reduce the tax slab (currently 18%) on the agriculture equipments and fertilizers and pesticides to reduce the production cost of crops.

Good evening team.
My name is Baidya.
I’m glad to start the discussion on the topic. Will the income of farmers double in the next five years?
In my opinion, yes, the income of farmers will double in the upcoming five years because several initiatives have been taken by the Indian government like the PM Kisan scheme, under which the government provides Rs. 6000 as assistance in terms of financial, which helps farmers to purchase, high-quality seeds and Khad hence productivity of agriculture is improving day by day. The second scheme that was launched is Kusum Yojana in which the government provides incentives to install solar pumps. Hence burden of electricity bills be reduced and more savings for farmers in terms of finances hence it could be concluded that within five years with the help of several government schemes, the farmer's income will double.

Yes, but a little challenge, to double farmer's income we have to develop communities that help the farmers for double their income. The really challenge is that the trading companies that are in between the farmers and the market or specially, the actual process is happening on that farmer's product which must be reduced.
That can happen when the govt has some regulations that must be followed. When the cost is lower automatically the income also be doubled. And also the main point of that process is to increase the beliefs of soil health of that farm this can be a great change in that subject.

Generating income means less cost of production and higher value at sale. Now assuming the cost of production the important point should be like availability of govt agencies to provide basic services like tractor use, movable hydro pumps at reasonable cost, which will surely be lesser than the prevailing cost in the village area. moving to the seeds and fertiliser which is available by the govt agencies but are accessable to few, who approach.
Distribution of seeds and fertiliser should be like at doorstep, showing your ownership of land holding will decide the quantity of seed and fertiliser. These steps will help in reducing the production cost. Purchase of finished crop at reasonable rates by market agencies will help in increasing the income and it may so possible that the income gets doubled.
