It seems me to that extracurricular activities must be compulsory in school & colleges as well because not only it needs to physical activity& mental health but also it helps to students become socialize and the can groom their at the drop of hat.

Extracurricular activities required for become a more organize and more confident in crowd and some research also proved that person involves in more than one activity more intelligent comparison to at the same time person involves in one activity because he use more part of brain comparison to other one at the same time that's why Extracurricular activities must be compulsory in schools and colleges because they are in their growing stage and not only they grow physically but also they grow emotionally, mentally.

Yes of course.

Friends nowadays the pvt schools overtaking our govt school in every field. They are taking the initiative to grow up students brain practically engaging them in various extracurricular activities. But in our govt school, only study is going on. But the expense in pvt schools is too high where common people can't take admission of their wards.

In past, we had sufficient time and place to engage ourselves in various extracurricular activities but now we don't have places due to huge construction in every place and secondly to make an equality with pvt school we have to treat those students to spend maximum time in study.

So, I think to enable this poor pupil more effective, every school should adopt the extracurricular activities besides study.

Yes. I think extracurricular activities must be there in the schools. Our upcoming generation should learn to live practical life rather than be a bookworm. These activities will enhance and groom their personality. Directly or indirectly they will learn the basic lessons of life like self-discipline, moral courage, physical courage, hardworking, time management etc.

But at the same time. We should not take this as a competition. Nowadays everyone wants to be better than others. But becoming better by leaving others behind. I don't think thats good. So. With the race of this activities and so called competition. At the same time. We should have unity. Have some morals to do things together. We should not bring that much self centered behaviour within ourself!

Extra curricular activities should be made compulsory in school. The equal importance will give to both studies and other activities. Not all students have same talent. Everypeople has a unique and different talents. The students will starting their studies and gain their knowledge in school first. So the school management have to organize many events and cultural programs to explore the hidden talents from the students. Also they must give equal importance to sports. They must encourage the students via these activities. This events makes the students relax. Through this student should get a chance to improve their communication skills. It also help them to get a job in future. Extra curricular activities are only helps to brighten the future of students.

Nowadays, we are seeing that children are forced to concrete on studies, marks. Etc thus result in stress, health problems, no knowledge on going trends.

But, the only solution is extracurricular activities especially sports, the cultural activities, competition likes debates, Group discussion etc why especially sports because this will help children from mental stress, increase stamina this will help the students to concentrate on study and Time management which will help in the future.

Another Extra curricular activity, will help to build their career in which they are interested upon and teachers should observe in which they are interested and help the students in building up their career in that particular field by providing more knowledge.

Hello dears,

I am gonna specific as much as I can.

Extra curricular activities should be Made compulsory but not during exam/Study period.

As if extra curricular activities and studies both comes together than that may create pressure on student life as we are taking about making it compulsory.

But it is Must and program should be designed in a way that student can participate with their full potential and effort.

A School class generally runs for 12 months, Extra curricular activities should be availed to student in first few months then on they should focus on studies.

So extra curricular activities should be made compulsory in school for their bright future keeping in consideration that it doesn't effect a student studies.

Thank you.

Yes, extra curricular activities should be made compulsory in school. Forget about the competitions first child should learn to live his life right. Studying all the day gives only the bookish knowledge but participating in extra curricular activities will make one to use that knowledge in the society. For example studying how to swim is totally different from really swimming right. So first learn and then execute.

And these curricular activities will also make child to relax from studies for a while. And following are the main advantages having extra curricular activities in school.

1. It increases competitive spirit.
2. It makes a child to mingle with people.
3. It gives relaxation.
4. And it makes a child to know his real world.

Hello everyone.

Definitely Yes. Because extracurricular gives the chance to develop their health, personality, decision making, leadership there is different more activity which is important for the students. And it is compulsory along with college syllabus whatever they are studying.

Actually, there are more kids who have good talent but they are not getting chance to work on that some are mentally strong some are physically strong and families are always forcing for the study only so it has college responsibility to improve their skills.

In China, you must have to learn something (games) along with the study. And we can see there results in the Olympics and different games.

So, it is very important for the students.

Thanks.

Yes, of course. The Extracurricular activities should be the part of the education system. Today's life of students is very busy. They don't get time even to play outdoor games, resion may be lack of playground or homework pressure of schools. Sports is as necessary as food for the growth of children. If sports will be the part of the education system then parents also take it seriously and force their children to play.

The performance of India is very in Olympic because our country is unable to produce star sportsman. Very less percentage of students wants to make their own carrier in the sports. They prefer a job in different sectors or do business. The government should give more focus on games in schools and colleges.

Hello Everyone,

Extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in school as it will lead to the all-round development of the children. Participating in events like Elocution and debates will prepare them for the future as many of the freshers who are about to face the corporate world are facing the problem of communication skills. A good touch with Art, Dance, Music and Sport will allow the children to find their passion in life.

Who knows children with great passion may become another Sachin, Messi, A. R. Rahaman, Mickel Jackson. These Extracurricular activities will be the initiation for the great passion. It also changes their perception of the world to think different and achieve more in life.

Thank you.
