Yes, it has to be compulsory because without extra curricular a person's overall personality can't develop and by mugging up our books we can only clear exam but can't do anything in life without having good personality we go to school to make our better future and for this in these days good personality is must so schools should focus on that also and for that they should make extracurricular compulsory and by this inner talent of students would show which would increase their career option.

Yes, I think extracurricular activities should be there in the school because that these things are that which makes students to think some something out of their thinking like out of their study they have to think little bit of Creative the need to be focused on the things like whatever program is that you should participate in that and give your fulfill because this things teaches you how to meet people how to keep behaviour in the public and how you should talk with them how to pronounce the words what respect you should give with whom we are working on this all type of things we learn in that and if we are doing extra-curricular activities in the technical then it increases our practical knowledge about that subject because we are applying it on the basis, daily using basis that's why extra activities most and if they are made compulsory in the school then each and every student definitely find what you can do in future I need not be that is to 3 years in the adult for finding his patients are you can say career.

Hello Friends,

It's awesome to have such knowledge after reading your comments about a very important topic that extra curricular should be made compulsory in school. I also believe that extracurricular activities are very important for infinite dimension growth of a child. It helps a child and gives the opportunity to grow him unconditionally. A student can choose of his interesting field and school is medium where he can check the possibilities of his potential towards a specific field which he wishes to. A student must be forced to involved in the other activities rather than taking a normal routine just to complete the syllabus described by the board. I understand studies are very important but still, I personally feel that not only education but also these activities makes a student confident and help him to grow at a different level where the probability of growing is more faster. A student shouldn't be pressurized by the teacher for the learning but they should also encourage them to understand the advancement of the world. As because it will mitigate the fear of a student to go to school if the school environment is healthy and teachers become friendly towards a student flaws.

Thank you.

We've all heard about the proverb "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy"! It emphasises on the fact that extracurricular activities are strongly needed for the growth of a child. Having said that extracurricular activity are as essential as academics in school, I would strongly disagree with the motion of making them compulsory in schools. This is due to the fact that nowadays students are burdened with dozens of academic subjects in their syllabus and by making EXA compulsory would just be like forcing another subject on them without even knowing whether they like it or not! If a child likes playing football, he could be least interested in music and vice versa, thus the purpose of relaxing their minds and body would not be solved. Instead, I would suggest the school to arrange the wide range of ExA on an optional basis and encouraging students to take part in them by properly mentoring them!

Thank You.

I think extra-curricular activities must be made compulsory in school because there are a lot of children who come to school just to get through exams in good scores but they won't be confident enough to present themselves when given a chance to speak up or mingle with people. And that fear can be mitigated better in the childhood. Once they grow up their unconfident nature will create obstacles for them at different times.

According to my point of view, a school is a place where a child learns everything so school is not about only studies. When we are a child we just go to school and not anywhere else so it's necessary for us to do some extracurricular activities it makes us to be able to do many things. We take initiative and creativity, and we socialize with many people so yeah it's important to do some. Co-curricular activities so that when we will go out of school we will be able to do something.

Extra curricular activities should be made compulsory in school. The equal importance will give to both studies and other activities. Not all students have same talent. Everypeople has a unique and different talents. The students will starting their studies and gain their knowledge in school first. So the school management have to organize many events and cultural programs to explore the hidden talents from the students. Also they must give equal importance to sports. They must encourage the students via these activities. This events makes the students relax. Through this student should get a chance to improve their communication skills. It also help them to get a job in future. Extra curricular activities are only helps to brighten the future of students.

Extracurricular activities are those activities apart from studies that improve the physical as well as mental health of students. These activities can play a major role in generating the sportsmanship in students. Students can learn how to respect your opponent and other team members. Students can learn how to handle a situation so that a predicted result can be generated. For example in activities like cricket, football, students can learn how to change the strategy so that they can defeat another team. These activities can help in building the stamina of the students. Students can know each other deeply.

They can provide a platform so that students can refresh their mind and body after long hours of study. That's why extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in schools.
