Hello, guys M Shruti & in my point of view, yes, extra curricular activities should be made compulsory in schools as extra curricular activities help in improving confidence & projection level of a child. Extra curricular activities also help a child to gain knowledge in more than studies.

Yes, I strongly agree. Extra curricular activities are necessary for the children because in this technological world the today generation are more focused on mobile and internet and the result is that they did not know there hidden talent. Extra curricular activity provide the platform where they can find there hidden talent moreover they can build their career in that particular field.

Of course extra curricular activities should be made mandatory in schools. It has multiple benefits associated with it. Right from shaping the persona of a student, to providing a healthier body it has several advantageous effects on us. As we all know "All work and no play makes jack a dull boy". So its very well suited over here. Extras sharpen our concentration and increase our efficiency and performance level in studies or any concerned area. Apart from this, it teaches the qualities like teamwork, leadership building. Co-curricular have tremendous effects on our personality from. Teaching us to more patient to encouraging us to be disciplined. In the current scenario, where there is cut-throat competition in every field, mandating co-curricular at school is very helpful for proper shaping as well as the stable state of our mind, make it resistant to mental disorders like depression.

If academics and extra-curricular activities are treated equally or given equal importance then personally I too feel that extra-curricular activities should be mandatory.

Definitely extracurricular activities should be a part of the curriculum in the schools. A child not only requires books for his development but games and other things makes him perfect. We can see that continuous study in classrooms makes boredom, but if we give some time to children to go in the ground, they will get refreshed.

Extra curricular activities is used to test student, and know their skills and what they are good at. So I find no reason why it should be exempted in school activities.

Yes, besides learning the things in you book the student want to know their surroundings and they need to know the taste of music and also need to know how to share their thoughts without any fear in front of society. This type of schooling method wants to commence from their primary level of education and also find time for each student because all the students have some potential.

Because of a lack of confidence, they will always step backwards and in future, he/she will regret it because they have only knowledge from books sometimes they can't even express their knowledge because of a lack of self-confidence. Therefore bringing extracurricular activities and giving them a chance to avoid their stage of fear in their school life is essential. It might change the mentality of the student and also help them to know their power and their role in bringing up a better nation.
