Rather than making extracurricular activities important the more important fact is to make each and every children aware of what talents they have, parents and teachers have a great role in it. Each student have different capabilities and talents. So extra curricular activities must be made in school but not by forcing students to do a particular type of activities which they are not apt.

Yes, Extra curricular activities should be made compulsory in school as these activities help students to grow faster. Besides studies, a person should be active in other fields as well. It keeps students physically and mentally fit. A well-known saying is "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" which means only studies can't make a person physically fit and our health comes first then anything else. So to keep ourself fit and healthy, physical activities and our interest in other activities such as music, musical instrument playing, drawing, painting, crafting, swimming, skating, horse riding, judo-karate, dancing all are necessary. Indoor and outdoor both games are good for example chess which proves are intelligence and outdoor games like volleyball, football, basketball, cricket, kho-kho and many more all are good, one should be active in any of these activities. Some of the students are not good in studies and so if they participate in these activities they can improve their grades as well so it is beneficial for them in all terms for physical fitness, grades improvement and kills boredom and builds interest in school. So extra curricular activities should be made mandatory in schools.

Yeah, sure, extra curricular activities are compulsory implanted in schools because students get stressed by the studies, and studies are not-fulfill the requirement of life. Extracurricular activities like games and project work, meditation and yoga to enhance skills, confidence, strength, health, concentration and will power, so even not only studies makes perfect, so extracurricular activities makes perfect in their life.

Thank you.

Extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in school. In modern time, competition is very tough & normally, schools operate 7-9 hours a day. In such time, if the child will not come in contact with extracurricular activities then he/she will become a part of monotonous and stressful life. Although, extracurricular activities make our body fit and healthy. And healthy mind resides in the healthy body. Students who take part in extracurricular activities, perform very well in studies.

Yes, Extra Curricular activities are important. Why?

1. Must for holistic (Mental, Physical, Emotional) development of an individual.

2. It helps an individual to recognize his/her talent at an early stage and if he/she finds himself/herself good enough they can pursue it as a career.

3. Boosts confidence.

The problem is that Indian schools have very few activities and they force all students to do those activities. When I was a kid, I was not interested in doing dance, play but I had to do as it was a rule in our school to be part of at least two activities and I used to find it as wastage of my time. I was real of fond computer and want to join robotic club, mechanical workshop but my school had none and if any school has these facilities that are a mechanical workshop, robotic lab they often charge a student a lot of money (Rs. 500 - Rs. 1000) for 3-4 days course.

Hello.

According to me, yes extra curricular activities should made compulsory in school because these activities improve the body language and learn them more thing. It improves there nt only mental ability but physical and other ability. These activities teach them how to manage every situation. Only study can make them hard working intelligent but can't make them smart in all field.

So it is very important it should compulsory in school.
