Hi Everyone!

"Yes" it must be compulsory. Even many state's government has made it compulsory in every schools and other states are considering the same to implement.

But I do have a different point from all of you over it which is "Extra Curriculum activities should not be made compulsory" for the students.

First we need to understand why Extra curriculum activities are necessary and why students should participate in school's curricular activities.

Some intellectuals consider extra curricular activities should be the part of study as only grade can't decide and write your future, ECA give students some break from the study and refresh their mind and help them in their overall development, mentally, physically, morally, emotionally and spiritually.

I strongly agree and support to these points and these are the valid points that extra curricular activities are necessary and play a vital role in a students overall growth, they consider ECA helps students to know their inner abilities, their strength, capabilities and also makes a good leader, a good decision makers and a good person etc.

But my question is why compulsory why not optional?

In my point of view, It must be compulsory for every school to have a day or an hour session for the ECA but should not be made mandatory for the students to join extracurricular activities even if they're not interested in because under compulsion neither they can enjoy it nor can feel fresh or definitely they would not choose it as a career if forced. But yes it must be the duty and responsibility of teachers to aware them, encouraging and motivating them towards ECA and make them know the benefits of it, how it is useful for their future, how it could shape their future and then this decision should be left onto the students whether or not they want to enrol themselves for the ECA.

Than you.

Hello everyone,

In my point of view, Extra curricular activities should be made compulsory in each and every school. Students keep on studying for the whole day and they don't have any source of relaxation. Apart from this there are some students who want to build their career in other areas which are not related to education. But since parents say that school education is must, they join in the schools. So, if they have such activities daily they feel relaxed and can also build their career based on their interests.

Extra curricular activities include dance, music, group discussions, sports, and many other. If students get involved in all these they will be able to use their skills in the future also.

The CBSE board had already made sports and Extra curricular activities compulsory in all CBSE affiliated schools. I think that the government is also making it compulsory. But if there is any school still not making it compulsory, then I think its high time now.

Hello everyone, very good morning to all of you.

This is Ajay Kumar, today my topic is extra activities should be made compulsory in school.

I think in my point of view it's absolutely correct if it is implemented in every school. As we all know that every has different talents and capacities. So by implementing it in every school helps to show their talents in their interest field by this it helps to groom their talents which are very helpful for their own life as well as for the country to perform their abilities. At last, I want to say that school life is the most important part to study or perform different activities as much as possible. So this rule should be implemented.

Thank you for reading my opinion.

I will accept the view that was given above because in schools the talent of the students is up growing knowledge so for the purpose of this they must need the extracurricular activities. This is like one side business for the students to improve their strength. By this they will lose their fear, automatically it leads to improving their confidence levels.

Superb, I have seen some people who join special coaching classes to develop skills which are the part of school extra-curriculum activities as debate improving English or body language, public speaking, leadership quality, etc.

Yes,

According to me, extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in schools, so that children can go for some refreshment activities like playing, singing, dancing, art and crafts etc, which will give a boost to the minds of today's young children. It will further sharpen their minds and enhance their concentration power. Playing different games will help to become better and responsible citizens of the society, because every game is played according to certain rules and breaking the rules means a foul play and a foul play requires some kind of penalty. In this way, children learn the quality of playing fairly and when children gain this attribute they try to implement these qualities in their personal lives. Further, extra curricular activities develop many other qualities like discipline, time management, team spirit, justice.

Extracurricular activities are not just important but one of the core parts of one individual. It does not just improve your way of living you're but also escalated your overall persona to another level where every single person always wanted to attain. As we call it Extra circular it should not be called extra in any means. This is something which should be mandatory to everyone for the betterment of there life.

Participating in such activities not just bring the best out but helps to create new trade and components that help in the future to get a better life better thought process.

So one should always eager to be part of any activity which is happening around you.

Yes, in my opinion, extracurricular activities are important or should be compulsory in school. Extracurricular activities enhance the skills, knowledge, etc of a student. Some students are not interested in academics so, they can think of to shape their future in dancing, singing, acting, sports, etc, and these all activities are come under in extracurricular activities.

I am also a student and in my school, extracurricular activities are held on every saturday in the last period.

Yes, in schools extracurricular activities are very important for the students. As we know that extracurricular activities are important as much as a study. Extracurricular activities help us to debate, to improve body language, public speaking, singing, dancing, motivational speaker, leadership quality and many other things that we need to improve me.

Yes, from my vantage point of view, it should be made compulsory. Extra co-curricular activities like Debates and talk shows help in building confidence for speaking in front of a large audience and also enables them to use correct hand gestures and use proper body language. Besides what's the point of learning if you can't execute what you have learned. Believe it or not, activities like sports indirectly help in academic performance. If a child is allowed even 30 minutes of play he would feel happier and can concentrate on studies. If he/she is not given this opportunity, it would take their mind off studies and start thinking schools of places where you are "forced to learn" instead of learning.
