I am posting my comments.

If I talk of extracurricular activities then it is most important part to develop a child in school as academically one can only learn out some topics but if one in indulging with extracurricular activities then he or she can find an interest in himself or herself as to develop a child from starting then it is necessary to find out the interest of that child because extracurricular activities helps to groom out the personality in a different way. Marks are just a platform to go ahead but inner development is to live the way you want.

Yes. I think extracurricular activities must be there in the schools. Our upcoming generation should learn to live practical life rather than be a bookworm. These activities will enhance and groom their personality. Directly or indirectly they will learn the basic lessons of life like self-discipline, moral courage, physical courage, hardworking, time management etc.

But at the same time. We should not take this as a competition. Nowadays everyone wants to be better than others. But becoming better by leaving others behind. I don't think thats good. So. With the race of this activities and so called competition. At the same time. We should have unity. Have some morals to do things together. We should not bring that much self centered behaviour within ourself!

I think, Co-curricular activities shapes & mold the personality of a person. It helps the students to extract the best qualities from themselves. It also results in reducing their anxiety & frustration. Students will be able to explore more rather than being a bookworm.

From my point of view, extra curricular activities should be made compulsory in school. We know that today's generation kids are doing a race in the name of education. Who is going to top in schools or college? Even though many children have good skills in the sports or they are talented in other activities but many times their parents are not allowing them to go for that because that will affect their studies as they thinking. So I must say that it extra curricular activities should make compulsory in school.

AS jack Ma said : Its ok that you are not top in your class be an average student because these kinds of students have only got time to involve in other activities and they can also learn many things.

Today's generation has only bookish knowledge and they are unaware of the real world. By doing extra sports activity they can be fit physically. By involving in other games and activities your brain functioning will also increase.

In my opinion, yes extra-curricular activities should be made compulsory in schools as it helps the students to develop the skills apart from the academic curriculum skills. It helps the student to develop a good personal profile. It is also the best way to get aware about the field in which he or she can excel.

In today's era, bookish knowledge is not everything one must have a multidimensional personality and these activities develops the skill in the student right from the beginning.

It helps one to develop a dynamic personality.

Hi everyone.

I am Krish.

I think extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in the school. Some of the reasons why I prefer to be made it compulsory.

1. In ancient days children used to have physical activity a lot, but nowadays children are not showing any interest towards it.

2. In those days, parents argue with children for not coming to home even after playing hours of time, but now the scenario is quite reversed- parents are interested to send children for outdoor games rather sticking to phones idle in the home.

3. As of not having these extra-curricular activities, children are becoming sluggish and dawdle to move, so infact their mental activity will also be disturbed.

I do agree with you.

My opinion is that extracurricular activities should be made compulsory in school as it will help to enhance the personality of an individual. If from the school level the children is performing all the activities that he won't face any problem of stage fear, public speaking which is the problem of most of the youth in today's world and people are not getting placed in a good company.
