As both EQ and IQ are important in one's life as IQ helps the person to achieve the desired goal or aim and EQ helps in good leadership as well as provides good mental stability at the workplace.

I support EQ. Decision-based on IQ may be quick, accurate and refined. But rational, long lasting and result oriented decisions can be taken only on the basis of EQ. India being faced with bureaucratic apathy needs EQ very much as its sensitivity and humane approach.
Is much needed for the benefit of marginalized and underprivileged people of our country.

According to me, without eq a person is like a robot who can take decisions and solve problems based only on the logical circumstances, but he may not be able to qualify the problems which need to be understood emotionally and according to the rules and regulations of the surrounding environment. Thank You.

Hi.
According to me, Emotion quotient and intelligent quotient both are needed for a person to survive in this world. I believe intelligence is some what related to mind and emotions are related to heart. That's why there is always a confusion either to listen to mind or heart. Well scientists believe that EQ is more important than IQ because the intelligence quotient varies under different emotions. But still the the confusion remains.

EQ is equally important as IQ, as we have to deal with people and you need to come out from many worst situations in your career as a professional.

I Think I would definitely go with EQ. Because people are crucial and very important aspect our life. When you got a good Emotional Quotient it will get easy to understand each perspective. In another way, around EQ acts an intelligence in Human Emotions.

Hello everyone!
I believe both IQ and EQ are among the most important aspects of our lives. IQ helps us find solutions to problems, while EQ helps us understand them.
Therefore, both IQ and EQ are essential.

In my opinion, the balance is very important. Because in day to day life some situations demand our intelligence while some our emotional characteristics. Suppose if someone is very smart but is emotionally weak then there is no use or someone is emotionally very strong but he is not smart again no use. So, definitely, We have to balance both in order to face any challenge in life.

In my opinion,
There is a small demarcation between EQ and IQ which cannot be ignored and makes a difference. EQ stands for Emotional Quotient which tells how a person controls or manages his emotions effectively in an adverse situation.
While IQ stands for Intelligence Quotient which reflects a person's cognitive, logical and reasoning skills or something you're largely born with.
A combination of both is important in today's world.
Thank You!
