Hello everyone according to me,
Both are very important each can be given more weightage based on which profession they are dealing with IQ refers to Intelligent Quotient (IQ) which involves logic, calculations etc where whereas EQ which is Emotional Quotient deals with sympathy, love, care etc.
Certain professionals like the medical industry need more EQ along with IQ for example you are a very good expert doctor and you treat your patients with at most care, sympathy and deliver reports in a calm and composed way then patients get cured faster as their mental well-being also improves because of sensitive response to it.

IQ and EQ are both important depending on the situation.
IQ is used in terms when logical thinking needs to be applied while EQ is used in terms of personal or even sentimental situations.

Yes, we can consider that iq is over one eq, any problem cannot just solved by only eq and iq, there have both needed as a level, to make the priority on eq is the best example is that a computer cannot replace human mind because the human mind has both EQ and IQ that is needed to complete any task.

I think IQ and EQ both are very important aspects of human life. Both EQ and IQ help in solving the problems in our lives.
IQ(Intelligent Quotient): IQ helps in the intelligent aspects of our lives. It provides intelligence to solve the problems in our lives. EQ(Emotional Quotient): EQ helps in the emotional aspects of our lives. It provides us help to solve the problem with our emotions.
Both aspects are very important. Because it helps us to solve the problem very quickly.

In my opinion,
Iq means intelligent quotient and it refers to how much person is so intellectual, intelligent and solve problem in new innovative method while eq means emotional quotient refers to how a person deals a situation with not only by mind but heart as well as thinking with feelings.
And both are very necessary in a leader and play a very important role in any situation.

My opinion is both are important.
Intelligence helps in solving a critical problem (a difficult task). Emotions help to manage stress (when solving a difficult task).

These both are different terms. But their interrelation helps a person to develop a positive attitude. IQ is related to thinking ability of person whereas EQ is related to emotional phases of person.

IQ - Intelligent Quotient.
Which contain: analytical thought logic, memory, hyperactivity, concentration, risk, politics, competency, and technical skills.
EQ - Emotional Quotient.
Which contain: holistic thought, empathy, art, music, awareness, motivation, hopes, fear, emotion, soft skills, belief, behaviors, sacrifice, discipline, and dedication.
IQ measures the ability of a person to think logically and also solve new problems with innovative ideas. IQ can be somewhat increased by practice. EQ defines how a person is able to manage his/her own emotions and also understand other's emotions.
You need to have a brilliant IQ to become a good engineer, but to be a leader of engineer your EQ is more important rather than IQ. It's different to go ahead with one. I think they are complementary to each other.
A person should have EQ like 2/3 ICE in the ocean & 1/3 ICE above water level. So we can understand from this what we see & what we don't see but need to hold space for.
" EQ + IQ = SUCCESS ".
There are many examples to understand if one of them is not there then the person is not ideal like Sheldon Cooper from 'Big Bang Theory' has IQ - of 187 but a very low EQ level so that's why his coworkers don't like them.
Osama-bin-laden is a great example to understand that a person with a great ability to think is not sufficient, he should have some EQ too.
Next, chimpanzees, dolphins, crows, and elephants have more IQ than humans so EQ is one of the factors which differentiates us from animals.
There should be a balance between EQ-IQ because some of the decisions we cannot make by emotions and some not take by the brain every path of life we should have a proper balance between them.
Every successful man maintains a level between them. You might not make any decision with only one of the EQ or IQ. Many companies are looking for an employee who has both of them So they conduct aptitude tests as well as psychometric tests.
Thank you.
