I think IQ and EQ both are very important aspects of human life. Both EQ and IQ help in solving the problems in our lives.
IQ(Intelligent Quotient): IQ helps in the intelligent aspects of our lives. It provides intelligence to solve the problems in our lives. EQ(Emotional Quotient): EQ helps in the emotional aspects of our lives. It provides us help to solve the problem with our emotions.
Both aspects are very important. Because it helps us to solve the problem very quickly.

Yes, we can consider that iq is over one eq, any problem cannot just solved by only eq and iq, there have both needed as a level, to make the priority on eq is the best example is that a computer cannot replace human mind because the human mind has both EQ and IQ that is needed to complete any task.

IQ and EQ are both important depending on the situation.
IQ is used in terms when logical thinking needs to be applied while EQ is used in terms of personal or even sentimental situations.

Hello everyone according to me,
Both are very important each can be given more weightage based on which profession they are dealing with IQ refers to Intelligent Quotient (IQ) which involves logic, calculations etc where whereas EQ which is Emotional Quotient deals with sympathy, love, care etc.
Certain professionals like the medical industry need more EQ along with IQ for example you are a very good expert doctor and you treat your patients with at most care, sympathy and deliver reports in a calm and composed way then patients get cured faster as their mental well-being also improves because of sensitive response to it.

IQ (Intelligence Quotient): A measure of a person’s ability to think logically, solve problems, and understand complex ideas. It reflects cognitive abilities like reasoning and analytical skills.
EQ (Emotional Quotient): A measure of a person’s ability to recognize, understand, manage, and respond to their own emotions and the emotions of others. It reflects emotional awareness and social skills.
Thank you.

In my opinion,
IQ and EQ are complementary to each other.
With only a high IQ one can only earn money but with a high IQ and EQ, one can earn money, respect, happiness, friends, and family and this ultimately leads to good leadership qualities.
EQ + IQ = GOOD LEADER =SUCCESS.

IQ or Intelligence Quotient is a must to survive in the modern tech-driven world. A high IQ score is welcome on any person's test score. Any employer would want a person with a reasonably high IQ. Life can throw many situations at us continuously, be it at work or home.
A high IQ, with a touch of common sense, helps us sort through the mess around, prioritize, organize, anticipate and respond as needed.
However, we as human beings have an emotional component. The EQ or emotional Quotient brings in the softer side of the person in play. It makes a person more human, more approachable and friendly. Having an empathetic partner at work or home makes life more pleasant. EQ allows us to play outside the rules, yet stay ethical, if need be.
So, YES, We need both IQ and EQ.

In my opinion,
There is a small demarcation between EQ and IQ which cannot be ignored and makes a difference. EQ stands for Emotional Quotient which tells how a person controls or manages his emotions effectively in an adverse situation.
While IQ stands for Intelligence Quotient which reflects a person's cognitive, logical and reasoning skills or something you're largely born with.
A combination of both is important in today's world.
Thank You!

Agree with you @Raj Gopal Menon.
According to me, EQ comes on the softer side or shows the softer side of human, I completely agree with this point, but sometimes when anger, impatience and other emotions can cause many problems when we work at a job in which every single decision is crucial. So, in my opinion EQ doesn't only stands for softer side.
Other than that IQ is something that is either inbuilt by birth or can be built by practicing reasoning and logical problems, and is very much important in making decisions at any level.
And according to me, IQ and EQ both are required at every level and aspect.

According to me, in today’s world, success is often attributed to intelligence and emotional awareness. While IQ (Intelligence Quotient) measures logical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical skills, EQ (Emotional Quotient) determines how well a person understands emotions, builds relationships, and handles social situations.
Strong Analytical Skills, Academic and Professional Success, and learning Ability is achieved by IQ whereas, Better Leadership and Teamwork, Handling Stress and Pressure, and Stronger Personal and Professional Relationships are achieved by EQ.
Neither IQ nor EQ alone guarantees success. A combination of both helps individuals excel in their careers and personal lives. While IQ might get you a job, EQ will help you grow and sustain it.
