EQ or IQ

In our day to day life, we will be facing a dilemma in which we have to select any one option but in any situation, we have to balance both the circumstance to accomplish the objective.

As I think, EQ & IQ both are an essential part of a personality. As IQ make a person more good in taking quick & accurate decisions in the same hand EQ helps you to coordinate & understand your team members in an adequate way.

So according to me EQ & IQ both are important in a balanced manner.

Sherlock always ruled out any Emotional Value in any of his investigations. This helped him do a better job but was he liked enough by the people? His works were admired, but character not.

So the leader of today is expected to have the skill of empathising along with being an intelligent decision maker.

Only IQ will make you good decision maker but not a leader.

Only EQ will make you a good leader but not good decision maker.

A perfect balance of these two will make you climb the ladder of success faster than you think.

There are some people who are successful because of they're intellectual.

But it's not all.

Nowadays EQ is equally important as it is the quality of leader to influence people and strive them for a common goal. To influence them you need to motivate them and to motivate them you need to understand their needs. And to understand, intelligence is not all you need, you also need an emotional touch. Empathy. Your behaviour, manner is the way you talk.

Well, I have to say that we have both IQ and EQ. It's dependent on time, situation, person to person, age. Sometimes at some place, there is need an EQ and some times its needs IQ. So, overall it depends on other things.

Yes, I think both IQ and EQ are necessary. EQ stands for Emotional Quotient. In EQ we can easily understand the feelings and emotions of others and we can lead a higher position that means a good team leader of companies which are an essential work for companies and as a team leader we can communicate with the members.

And IQ stands for Intelligence Quotient. IQ is the presence of mind. Through IQ we can get good marks in the exam and we can also solve a difficult problem so easily.

EQ & IQ both are important for us, but as we know that you have EQ by birth its the ability how you talk or behave people in front of others its shows your nature not your talent. But when we are talking about IQ it is directly connected to our knowledge, skills whatever we have. Read the views on IQ/AS and loved it. Thanks for sharing. Here, what I feel about IQ/EQ is. We are social animal and being emotional is our birth right. We human beings are fooled emotionally only because that's our weakness. Being emotional is necessary for humans but to what extend? To measure that we need IQ so that it should not be misused.

Any decisions we take in life needs IQ. Decisions taken emotionally comforts us time being but if it's taken logically probably will save us from problems as nobody knows about the future. Taking Logical decisions is the best we can do. Whether you want it or not, emotions will always be there, what we need is IQ which will control EQ.

I think that IQ is more important than EQ. People are always very difficult to judge and whatever judgment our mind makes out of a person, it'll definitely not be 100% perfect. So if we take a decision by understanding people's mentality, it's not very sure that we will succeed in it.

But on the other hand, a person with more IQ will be able to process more data and statistics than a normal person. The data and statistics might prove to be the very important and solid proof of whether an idea is successful or not. So decisions which are based on solid proofs rather than understanding the emotional quotient of other people will be very strong.

There are so many probabilities to succeed than blindly believing something and acting upon it. IQ not only means studies, mugging up or getting good scores in exams. It also means the ability of one's mind to process the data and analyze true facts very quickly than others. Increased IQ also means decreased response time to any kind of problem or situation. I don't say that only IQ is enough to succeed in life. But, I feel that IQ is more important than EQ.
