In my view, both have their own space. Actually, EQ comes in the sense when we care about someone or something. But at the same time IQ has no bars. It just keep you updated and upgraded around the people.

I think EQ should be given priority here. A person with good EQ will be required in every aspect of life. Either in a corporate world or in social societies. He may work in any field after he is having a good knowledge of emotions of others. And we know this a person with good emotions will possess a good sound mind then surely he will have a good IQ. A person having good IQ can think himself as superior with high ego and he will not respect emotions of other.

According to me, IQ Intelligence quotient is to very important survive life. EQ Emotional Quotient part of our life, in life and IQ should be more than We we should maintain, we have to understand the emotional of others. For that we have to give using IQ vd a positive response.

In my opinion, EQ and IQ both ae important for a person. EQ is important in public life where IQ is depending on a person's intellectual derived from his abilities and his career base.

Hi, everyone. EQ is the ability to think, understand and action to do. But IQ is intelligence to think in a higher level, reasoning and problem solving. In each person's IQ and EQ are both needed. But my choice is EQ because it is long lasting and it shows the attitude of a person. It helps to succeed in life.

As I think, EQ & IQ both are an essential part of a personality. As IQ make a person more good in taking quick & accurate decisions in the same hand EQ helps you to coordinate & understand your team members in an adequate way.
So according to me EQ & IQ both are important in a balanced manner.

What I believe is, Emotional intelligence is one of the basic requirement one need to have because only that can help you to understand your deep desires, yourself and others too.
Without EQ it will really be a tough task to choose, to grab the best for yourself.
Self-understanding comes first for any individual which can only be acquired through EQ.
If we know what we want only then our IQ plays a role. Hence on my scale, EQ is more important than IQ.

I think we should care about eq more because if you are emotionally stable you can use whatever IQ you have fully but if you have high IQ and less eq you can't use your IQ fully and what's the use of having great amount of knowledge when you are not emotionally stable. ?

For a person to be successful in his/her life both IQ & EQ are important. But In my view IQ is more important than EQ, because IQ is naturally we can't increase it (except few increment). But we can develop EQ by our daily struggle with different situations, analyzing the situation and by applying our IQ.

There should be a balance between two.
There are some situations in our life where we have to use our IQ n some other situations where have to our EQ only. Using former in place later sometimes become dangerous.
So one learns to maintain a balance between these two. And they should learn in what situations they have to use their IQ n what situations they have to use their EQ.
