Hellow everybody,
Well, IQ and EQ both are important for us. IQ stands for Intelligence Quotient and EQ stands for Emotional Quotient. I think they completing each other. EQ is the ability to think, understand and action to do but IQ is Intelligence to think in a higher level reasoning and problem solving. In each person's IQ and EQ are both needed. EQ is long lasting and it shows the attitude of a person, it helps to succed in life on the other hand IQ helps the person to decide logically, practically and also accurately. So, IQ and EQ both are nesessary become a successful man. I think both are common part of our life and if we ignore any one that's not perfect logic.

In my opinion, both EQ and IQ are important at their places but I have to choose one of them I will prefer EQ over IQ because a person should have good control on their emotions IQ can be increased by the books but EQ comes with the life experiences. A person having good EQ can work more properly and calmly than the person having high IQ. I totally agree with the other views that a person having high IQ and no EQ is not able to differentiate between personal and professional life, according to me the person who is emotionally stable can do anything. So yes I prefer EQ over IQ.

Hello everyone!
According to me, both EQ and IQ are equally important. If one is engine then second is oil. Where IQ is helpful for both our educational and financial development, on other side EQ is important for social and personal development. Without IQ, no person can exist in this competitive, tough era of life and without EQ one cannot build his/her personality.
So one should possess both EQ and IQ. Both are important factors for a living and human growth. Both nourish each other and should be in a balanced manner.
Thank you.

Hello everyone,
According to me, IQ and EQ are equally important. I would like to explain this by simply comparing IQ with mind (brain) and EQ with heart (feelings). If a person has only brain just like robots and no feelings he would not be able to interact with people well or rather he would prefer to be isolated, he will not be able to make healthy relations which will directly or indirectly affect his work and health on the other hand a person with only feelings will make him academically weaker. So IQ n EQ both are required in proportionate the manner in order to grow emotionally and mentally.
Thank you.

Hello everyone.
According to my point of view, EQ and IQ both are the major controlling part of our body because by managing these two-factors successes is achieved very smoothly. EQ stands for emotional quotient and IQ stands for intelligent quotient.
To manage the teamwork EQ is needed while in individual work IQ is needed.
EQ is the function of heart and IQ is the function of the brain. For example, in managerial work, EQ is more important than IQ.

I pretty sure that the most of us know about Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory. That guy possesses an IQ level of 187, but has an EQ level of probably 4. He lacks to understand things from emotional point of view. He has a hard time understanding why his co-workers and acquaintances don't like him.
Your IQ may help you to land a job but it is your EQ which brings you success. Getting along emotionally with people and understanding things from their perspective is an art. We see many business firms recruit those who have the ability to deal with other people with ease. Those who can control their emotions and keep in view of other's emotions as well succeed in today's world. We see many people dealing with million dollar projects and deals with just EQ and common sense. Of course one cannot undermine the importance of IQ. IQ alone cannot bring you success, you need EQ along with it.
I would give more preference to EQ rather than IQ.
Thank you!

Hello everyone,
I am Gaurav.
Both EQ and IQ are important for better survival.
We have to first understand what basically they mean,
EQ stands for Emotional intelligence and is the capability of understanding other people's thought and signal. This surely will help us in becoming better at things which we do in our daily life. How we perceive things impacts greater and here EQ plays a great role in making us more confident.
Whereas IQ stands for Intelligence Quotient which depends heavily on how we think and reason.
IQ generally relates us to knowledge base while EQ to emotions and social based.
Thanks.

According to me, weightage of EQ should be more than IQ, because if you are perfect in EQ than you can manage with less IQ for eg if you have good personality, skills and way of communication, good attitude (which comes under EQ) can face any competitive situation and in the same way although you have strong IQ but poor EQ then no one will take you seriously or you will be less focused or few people will join you.
So overall conclusion is that you don't need to have a balanced or same level of IQ or EQ. If you are best in EQ then you can easily survive in this competitive era with less IQ.

In my opinion, a proper balance between EQ and IQ is the need of the hour. Intelligence quotient is important for it helps one to achieve his or her goals and apply their minds or intellect to get better at a job whereas EQ or Emotional quotient is required to keep one linked to his or her team, understand the failures, come up positively, introspect the personality and behaviour which also cannot be neglected.

EQ as well IQ, both are important for a person 's growth. Intelligent quotient is important to take decisions and Emotional quotient is important to understand the needs of people who are important or are directly related to us. A person with a high IQ can not grow if he lacks EQ towards others and a person having a high EQ but lacking IQ cannot take important decision as he lacks critical reasoning. Both are equally important.
