Yes, we need smart cities but not in terms of deteriorating anything that we already have. Like for making smart cities there are only cutting of trees and poor roads were seen nearby. For making smart cities need of lots of plantation and their maintenance required. One work should properly completed then start another if not possible to manage simultaneously like roads maintenance. Education, clean water, use of rainwater, proper drainage, transportation many more things in a queue. After working on that only cities become smart having smart educated people so that it will be maintained as smart. Not only on paper but in reality.

Yes, we really need smart cities.
Smart city means 24 power supply & all things that we buy at our city. But at some places, there is no water facility and 24 hours power supply we have to develop that. Once we develop our villages there would be developed smart City so we need smart cities but not now after 5-6 years.

I don't think we need a smart city because Our country is just a developing country not developed. As we know in our country. Many civilised people's are dependent on agricultural and we know where their position is. Not only in agriculture I think many classes they can not get just their requirements. 1st of all government should have to concern about them and try to remove their problems. Because the country will not on the path of success until those backward people will not be developed.
I conclude my point by saying. Only by making smart city our country will not be a developed country.

According to me, India does need a number of smart cities in the coming future because of the increasing population of our country. The cities are so overcrowded which thus leads to traffic jams, pollution and moreover road rage. Thus smart cities can help us in providing a different way of living lives with proper infrastructure and basic amenities.

Hii everyone,
I feel that creating a Smart City creates innovation and impact to the lives of people in our country. Not only Smart Cities promote technology but also it reduces the use of conventional resources and increase the use of renewable resources. Smart cities also enables accessibility of basic ammeneties and makes life more simpler and easy.
But the major drawback is the lack of technology like IOT in a developing country like India. Implementing and making technology feasible in cities is a major challenge in our country.

Of course there is a need for smart cities but moreover that we need to have a smart and effective education. With the development of only smart cities cannot be of great benefit with not so smart people. The education system, our agricultural system the poor section of our society needs to uplift first. My idea about the smart city is not just with the infrastructure and more technology it is a city with people of belonging to the place and responsible towards the future generation also.
