More than smart cities, we need disciplined citizens who care for natural resources, Water conservation, clean environment. Efforts should be made to preserve the Environment first, necessary facilities for the poor class is also essential as against Mindless erecting concrete jungles.

Yes, India needs smart cities. Smart cities are hubs of development. They attract people from various parts of the country, which becomes major source of human resource. They contain all the necessary resources like technology, transportation, people for the growth. Smart cities effectively uses the resources of the place and creates the resources for the people of the place.
The developed cities pave the way for the development of the remaining cities. Environmental conservation and sustainable development must also be included into the development of the cities.

Yes, we need smart cities which are more connected socially and centrally to the small circles. Like we can take example from Delhi which is totally occupied and the design is very complex to understand, people in Delhi are more connected to pollution rather than to people primarily. Despite to all this, the city is not centrally connected people give more time to traffic rather than to their family or work. Smart cities not only make cities more cleaner but also saves resources which are nowadays being wasted in many major Indian cities.

Yes, we need a smarts city and everyone want the smart city. But it is only possible when people think about it that "how to clean the city" if every person does the effort to do it then it is a big initiative to made the smart city. And smart city doesn't mean the particular thing like as cleanness, security, safety, thinking etc. We made the smart city if we take the whole thing. And we make the smart city if we do the effort in technologies, eager to learned everything, and showed the contribution for every right thing.

Hi,
I think if we start to clean our area ourselves, pay our electricity, water bill and house tax at right time which helps government to develop more in our area, then our cities automatically becomes smart cities. We only need to change the thinking of people.

I agree with your point, the main prospect of developing smart city is to enable quality of life and this is possible with smart governance, smart healthcare, smart infrastructure, smart mobility, smart waste management, smart technology.
Making more efficient use of physical aspects like road, infrastructure, through artificial intelligence and data analytics to support strong base of smart city.
