Hello,

Yes, we need smart cities to grow with the world but the basic necessities should be fulfilled first i,e. There should public toilets and many more. Smart cities should be developed but not at the cost of farming. Most of the people in India reside on farming.

In My point of view, smart cities concept is not useful. Our Indian economy totally depends on agriculture if we attend to only cities then a big gap will happen so we should implement first all required things for rural areas, then rural areas to people not will come to cities they come only just to earning. If government implement smart village program then definitely India will be developed. Lots of peoples are not aware of the skills and hence a big requirement for the smart village and not for smart cities.

Hi everyone, here I am against on the topic. In my view, I don't think we really need smart cities. Smart cities include a good internet connection, speedy trains, high education and cashless payment. India is the country where people are not able to fulfil their basic necessities. They are not able to get *ROTI KAPDA MAKAN* without this what they will do of all these high facilities. Our country doesn't need bullet train but it needs safe or more compartments. People in village don't have money to fulfill their needs how they will transfer money digitally from where they will be able to get money for internet connection and smart phones. This smart city concept will not be fully successful till our country is not fully educated. Without education how they will be able to operate high technology gadgets. In my view, I think the smart city is not the need of the hour but basic necessities are need of the hour.

Yes, I completely agree with Twinkle24.

At present we actually don't need smart cities till all our Indian citizens get their basic requirements, but on the other hand, we do need the smart cities in our country to cope up with world race and to uplift our Indian prosperity. But without education, building a smart city would be a huge mistake, the people in the rural areas don't even have education and proper understanding of today's technology.

But, yes, we do can build smart cities in our country, but only after the rural people get completely educated.

So this was my point of view in having a smart cities in our country.

Thank you.

According to my point of view, a smart city is not needed, since most of the people in villages are not computer literate they don't know even how to use the internet, and in villages no facility of internet, signals are very weak. So first of all development of each individual in the county should be done, then only everyone in the country can be at the same level in terms of using smart cities basic components. And one thing also it differentiates one city to other, PM Modi choose only 100 cities, what about other cities, it should be "smart country project". In smart city project, mostly those cities included that are developed at a good level. The cities which are developing, mostly they are not included in this project. This is unfairness of smart city project.

Hi, I am Ritu.

In my opinion, We need to focus to make a smart person instead of making a smart city. When people get a high education, proper basic facility, all the banking facility, internet facility, all-time electricity. Then he called as a smart citizen. And that type of people not only creates a smart city but also make a smart country.

Yes, we do need Smart cities because.

1. A smart city would have good transportation infrastructure, proper solid and liquid waste management, isn't this we want in our cities.

2. A smart city concept is a target, which creates the potential for investment which ultimately results in the creation of jobs.

3. Considering the sheer volume of migration from villages to cities, our cities are not equipped to hold such number which results in the slum, traffic problems, overcrowded hospitals, schools, so smart cities are a must.

Hi, friends, Good afternoon, I'm Mahesh, I'm from Visakhapatnam city.

In my point of view, we want really need smart cities, our government should start from rural areas after then developing cities. When cm come to our city, at that time our city should be clean, when cm goes to the city, our city is casual. So that, our government should from villages later to develop our country. The Smart city is to provide good education system and to reduce the illiteracy, then only our country will become a smart city.

Hello my friends,

My name is Sakshi Agrawal, and I am from Jabalpur.

In my opinion, we don't need of smart city we need of safe city where girls they can travels easily without any fear. We don't need of bullet train we need of good education we need of good compartment we need of safe life then after of this our country will automatically make a smart city.

As we know the people how to live in the village they don't know about the ceaseless traction they don't know how to use of internet and then our government work only in cities. They want to make metro cities so without develop village it cannot be possible.

So in my opinion, first we need smart education and safe city not smart city.
