By next decade it is estimated that around 5 million Indians will move from Rural to Urban areas in search of employment. Are our cities ready to accommodate these many people? Are there enough facilities to cater everyone's needs? Answer we all know is a big "NO".

So Smart cities Mission is a major initiative taken to tackle the problems in future, if not now.

E-governance shall make the system more transparent and also involve citizens opinions.

Better Energy and water management will ensure 24 Hr supply and avoid wastage.

More efficient waste management is surely needed seeing the plight of today, we can't imagine how it will be for tomorrow's generation. Also better urban mobility shall save our time and money.

"Stitch in Time saves nine".

And this is India's mission for a better urban living. Let us all joins hands and work towards a smart tomorrow. If not us, our next generation shall reap the fruits.

We actually need Smart Villages. It will stop migration, poverty, overpopulation, unemployment and maintain equality throughout the country indirectly.

If cities become smart. It promotes migration and as most of us knew everyone comes to city for better facilities and comfort. This makes most people selfish that ultimately makes no stable future for the country or people. Population also becomes high at certain point with scarce resources.

Hie friends.

As my opinion before need of smart city, we need to some changes in rural as well as urban areas.

Firstly I want to discuss the fact that there is need of common people to be smarter towards society. Everyone creates on perception that rural areas do not become smart. It becomes if common and each individual wants to change the perception and changes the fact. Why they migrate from rular to urban they need to change the mind they also help in many possible as they can to become smart country, not village not city. If any country developing like smart cities then what happened? To those rural areas. How to growth of country increases. Yes, I agree is not easy task. But if the task is difficult then this will be more enjoyable to do this task.

Thankyou.

Hi friends, I think we need smart cities as well as we need to develop rural areas also. Because if only cities become smarter then there will be migration of people from rural area towards the smart cities, in order to get good facilities.

And making only cities smarter don't make an India developed country. We also need to provide good facilities to the rural people such as better schooling, better roads, better electricity facilities and good hospital services.

Thank you!

Yes! We do need smart cities, as being a citizen of this developing country I really want to see my country being the most powerful in all the way whether its economically or strength wise in case of that having a confidence of being a citizen of a developing country who has so may smart cities gives itself a lot of courage and satisfaction in inner self so that we can proudly say that our nation is no more suffering from poverty and there are no more uneducated people as living in a smart city will give employment to many people which will definitely be going to eradicate the poverty.

So, yes we do need smart cities.

In my opinion, First our government should help those poor people who do not have proper home to live, they do not have nutritious food to eat, they do not have proper clothes to wear, do not have money to save their families life if they suffer from any disease. For making smart city and for making bullet trains in India need lots of money and that money government should use first to help those poor people who need help. Smart cities are called smart only when there will not be any poor people in our country. After making smart city we cannot be counted in list of super power country until or unless we use those lots of money to help those needy poor people who are suffering daily and many poor people die in our country because of no proper food, no hospital for them and many of them can't able to educate their children because of money problem. Instead of wasting so much of money to make smart cities first government should use that money to help those poor people. After eradicating poverty then they should start to make a smart cities and bullet trains and then only we will be in list of developed countries.

Before going to discuss whether it is needed or not I would like to give some idea on projects which are taken by different states on smart cities:.

1. Put up of CCTV.

2. Sewage treatment plant.

3. Biogas plants.

4. Slumbers rehabilitation project. Etc.

So, we can see that smart cities do not only benefit the higher class it is for all. Everyone's quality of life will be improved. Most importantly it is environment-friendly. The human waste will be totally processed by sewage treatment plant nd biogas plant and keep our environment clean.

We are in need of smart cities. When we wait for the change in the mindset of people definitely nothing will happen. So when we start to educate the merits of smart cities in school itself, atleast future generation will taste the fruits of this scheme. And government should create awareness through the educational institutions which will provide net good results. Apart from creating awareness through only Ads we will try to implement this in a different way. For example through a short film, which describes its merits, consequences of that particular scheme. So that people can understand in a very beter way and they will join hands to make this effort as a most successful one.
