The urbanisation has been increasing day by day. As a result, the government of India under the prime minister Narendra Modi on 25th Jan 2015 launched "Smart City" project. This project aims at building 100 smart city throughout India.
Smart City is a dream of many people which indicates the development of the country. Smart City will enhance the standard of living of people. It also contributes to the economic growth of our country.
Smart City projects will also help to provide a lot of job opportunities for many people. In India, 80% of people reside in rural and villages.
The government should also focus on rural areas. It should provide all the facilities that are not available in the village-like education, hospital, drainage, water, electricity. Etc.
Finally, I conclude that India really needs smart cities, which will help to make India as a well-developed country.

Probably no. Because India belongs to those countries where all kind of peoples are lives. The rate of poor people is greater in comparing the rich people. I think if we develop a smart city then we must have to that kind of economy which will easily afford that. So, opinion is we should have to postpone this idea for the future when everyone could be ready for a smart city.

Smart cities have been a dream of Indian people for many years as they largely contribute to the development of a country. Smart cities planning is very essential as the standard of living of an individual is enhanced. Smart cities development also contributes in terms of economy growth directly or indirectly.
The funds which are released by the government are used for road construction and drainage construction as well this leads to employment generation and also needs are there for machines to carry out the task in effective manner. Well in my opinion there is a need for smart cities in India for the economic growth of our country.

According to my point of view firstly government should be focused in the rural areas because in the rural areas they are facing lots of problem like transportation or electricity after then government also think about the providing the facility like good infrastructure, hospitalization, water, and electricity supply so we need the smart city.

According to my opinion, yes sir, wee need smart cities. Because now a days water logging in our cities is a red hot topic in our society. Water logging occurs because of lack of infrastructure and lack of future planning. Due to illegal construction. Government has brought a great idea of smart cities, where ignited mind of our country will think to make our cities smarter.
Now I want to talk about cyclone fani, which has completely destroyed our city, blackout remains 12 days in our city, but in smart cities electricity comes from underground, so by that during natural disaster we will enjoy electricity recklessly.
In smart cities we will get 24*7 internet connectivity across the city. Our people can stay connected with world.

Introducing a smart city in India is a great idea but India is still developing country due to the increasing poverty rate, and some cities may face lack of infrastructure and some basic issues before initiating these project government has to focus infrastructure like providing the good drainage system, good water facilities and medical facilities.
A nation with good infrastructure will tend to build good smart cities.

In this world, to become a developed country, it should be equipped with well educated people, advanced technologies. A smart city does not only mean it should be advanced in the above sectors but also the people of the city should get a proper, clean environment to live in. So having smart cities does not mean that developing the industries, transportation etc but also improving the envronment of the people, animals. So, I don't think there is harm in having a smart city.

According to my opinion, only smart cities can't fulfil all the need of our country so firstly, We should make our ruler area smart because Rural area's people have not the facilities to develop themselves. So I think if cities people and ruler area's people both have equal facilities to develop our country then it plays an important role to develop our country.
Thank you.
Thank you.
