Hi everyone.

Yes. We really need smart cities. Smart city means smartness in everything like infrastructure, tourism, job opportunities, business opportunities. Etc. So that other countries come and invest here. Tourism also makes more income to us. It is a step forward to reduce unemployment also. So that government Make a step forward to improve smart cities.

Smart cities is a very innovative and transformative initiative by the Indian Government. Smart cities envisage smart infrastructure, smart people, smart exploitation of resources. The efficient transport system, better traffic management, steps to curb pollution is the need of the hour. So, India definitely needs smart cities. But smart cities project should be accompanied by smart villages, then only India will truly walk on the path of sustainable development. Otherwise, the rural-urban divide will only widen with time.

Yes, we need smart cities in our country because it helps in attracting the people from our own country as well as from other countries to invest in developing new products and services. It takes lot of time to develop and continuous effort is required from various people like government, Public sector and private sectors firms and individuals to develop smart cities. Government puts lot of effort to showcase our country as a smart city only when top people come from other countries visit our country for that particular point of time by investing lot of money on them to attract the foreigners to invest in our country.

If the same amount of money is spent by the government on some other essential purposes for developing our country on a long term basis then such efforts may create huge impact on increasing the standard of living of the people which will contribute to the rise of our GDP growth which will attract many countries to make investment and it will remain for a long period of time.

Thank you.

Hello every one,

My name is Geethika,

I appreciate all of my friend's views,

And I want to tell about my views that are.

I really agree that smart cities are needed but for this, we have to take the help of governments also. Because many people are living in villages with unemployment but if you are creating a smart city, it will help to reduce the unemployment.

Thanks for giving this opportunity.

Thank you.

First of all, I would like to say current scenario of India. If we need smart city, we have to promote smartness in every activity especially in village. Still most of village people not getting reasonable salary for their basic need. Providing reasonable salary to them will automatically brings to smartness. Therefore what I am saying is, increase employment opportunity is the key to promote smartness in Indian. If our government do this, there is no additional effort for creating smart city in India. Automatically I will become developed country.

Yes, definitely we need smart cities but before doing this, first we have to balance the rural, semi-urban areas in the sense of employment, basic living needs, their democracy, education to all etc unless being a smart city results in poor economic development which differentiate many destabilizations among rural, So I think this development will promote the self-confident and creates a better economy.

Friends, I feel that instead o focussing on smart cities we should focus more on the population explosion. It I good to have less of better quality rather than more of low quality. We are already getting so distant and less interconnected with each other and all these mobiles and sensors and glittery options whose authenticity of which also we are not sure of, taking away the majority of our focus and energy that we have stopped having a life. I am a very hard believer that its population growth which we should take care of. Long live our Great India. Long live our world. Let there be love and peace.

By seeing all your views, I would like to add few points. Smart city means not only to make the city looks smart. The smart cities are need for developing our country. The city should be smart like that which leads to the development of our country so that they should focus on rural areas by reducing poverty, providing employment, making people to aware about different technologies mainly for farmers.

Thank you.
