Yes. We need smart cities. But before making smart cities we have to make smart people. First, we have to make all peoples literate. Because with the education people get the sense to survive in society. The Latest example about uneducated people attacks on Tejas express. Tejas express is a part of the smart city, but few people broke his windows. Therefore without literacy smart city is meaningless.

As of now, every city should be a smart city because if someone wants to do big they want a platform to express their hidden talent so if there will be a city with digital connectivity then it would be better but before that we should take initiative to make our villages also as good so that people will get basic resources.

According to me, we need smart cities for the betterment of our country. If we invest funds in making a smart city by providing good education, good facilities like hospitals, employment for the youth. India can progress in a way. We all know that India is a leading country in human resources. We have the best human resources. We can use it as a tool by providing the best education for our young generation rather than our people going abroad and working for them. Although, India is lacking poverty wise we can surely work upon that. But we can make our youth work for our country. Use our own human resources for the development of our country. And if we progress in doing so then yes India can surely become a developed country in the years to come. And also we can achieve the title of Smart Cities.

No, we do not need a smart city at this moment. First of all, we have to build the villages smart enough. Educate the people and make them hygienic. There are many villages till now where there has no power. So, first of all, we have to develop them. Then we will move toward smart cities.

Thank you.

Hello, guys.

As we all know that India is a developing nation and is facing problems like poverty, unemployment, illiteracy, etc. We are not in a position to spend our national income on projects like Smart Cities at this critical stage of our economy.

The main aim of our country should be to eradicate all these problems rather than spending on such activities which are completely futile at this point of time.

Moreover, the illiterate masses of our nation don't even understand the concept of smart cities, so our aim should be to increase literacy. When our country will be fully developed in all these sectors then we should head towards making our cities smart.

Thank you.

I think that smart city is not necessary for today. Firstly, the development is most important in rural areas and villages. In our country there are many villages has water problem and electricity. Firstly this problem must be removed then we can think for the smart city.

I believe in instead of smart cities we focus on other things like we developed some beneficial facilities for our farmers so our economy will be improved. We focus on a crime that tremendously increased in India such as corruption rape cases female foeticides and much more only making digital India is not the solution to every problem.

Hi everyone.

Ofcourse smart cities are needed but before that government should develope the developing areas into developed areas why because to build smart cities nation should need a huge investment with that we can develope rural areas like agriculture, handlooms etc and then smart cities is needed by that both urban and rural people can easily survive under smart and modern conditions in the society according my conclusion smart cities are needed but after fulfilling the major requirements.

Thank you.

Hi,

As I read all the opinions of my friends all has covered different points and they are really good to describe this topic I appreciate to all of you as per your given remarks. And speak about this topic so fatly we have to control our population by which we can make the smart cities for everywhere that is beneficial for all. Our population is going to top on daily basis which is not good for our development country and if we have created smart cities that no one takes the benefits of smart cities so do not focus on this focus on population if have controlled population everything we can do our develop the entire country in smart cities by which all can take the benefits of smart cities.

The second thing the old villages there till the time no any growth so our govt has to focus on these to facilities all the thing which they required and provide them of better jobs and education for his better future if they have a good education with good money absolutely villages will be changed into smart cities. As my own experience, I like villages more than cities because the fresh environment is there to good health. Do not go to villages change into smart cities just provide them to all requirements as they need then you will see no one can see that our country need smart cities. That is I want to say.

Thanks everyone.

For the development of any nation or country we need to change our mindset, education should be made compulsory everywhere then only we will be aware of all the minor and major changes in our world and can start the campaign for smart city. If we can change ourselves then we can do anything. Cleanliness, awareness of the new technology, discipline can lead to the development of smart city. Thus we should help the government in initiating this step.
