Hello every one,
My name is Geethika,
I appreciate all of my friend's views,
And I want to tell about my views that are.
I really agree that smart cities are needed but for this, we have to take the help of governments also. Because many people are living in villages with unemployment but if you are creating a smart city, it will help to reduce the unemployment.
Thanks for giving this opportunity.
Thank you.

Yes, we need smart cities in our country because it helps in attracting the people from our own country as well as from other countries to invest in developing new products and services. It takes lot of time to develop and continuous effort is required from various people like government, Public sector and private sectors firms and individuals to develop smart cities. Government puts lot of effort to showcase our country as a smart city only when top people come from other countries visit our country for that particular point of time by investing lot of money on them to attract the foreigners to invest in our country.
If the same amount of money is spent by the government on some other essential purposes for developing our country on a long term basis then such efforts may create huge impact on increasing the standard of living of the people which will contribute to the rise of our GDP growth which will attract many countries to make investment and it will remain for a long period of time.
Thank you.

Smart cities is a very innovative and transformative initiative by the Indian Government. Smart cities envisage smart infrastructure, smart people, smart exploitation of resources. The efficient transport system, better traffic management, steps to curb pollution is the need of the hour. So, India definitely needs smart cities. But smart cities project should be accompanied by smart villages, then only India will truly walk on the path of sustainable development. Otherwise, the rural-urban divide will only widen with time.

Smart cities are needed as the requirements of people around the world to live better. But it will take a long time and should be implemented step by step. Raise awareness and literacy level to keep the cities more organized and civilized is the first step, next up is to apply technologies to make all the activities operating automatically by robots or softwares. And even there is no need the existences of the governments as well.

Hello Guys,
In my opinion, the root cause of many problems in India at macro level is huge population which is unevenly distributed over the country. There are parts of country which are overpopulated because of resources and standard of living like Mumbai. In reality this standard is deteriorating because of congestion and cost of living. Government spending on these areas would have a very short lived positive impact. In order to have long term positive impacts population from these areas need to be diluted. Here smart cities or smart villages would play a significant role. Now a days many huge private organisations are adopting particular village and developing it as part of Corporate Social Responsibility. These steps would render developmental activities and spending by government effective in long run.

Yes. There is need of smart cities in India. Smart city is the richness of the city by its roads, infrastructure, public utility, malls, etc. Thus creating wide diversification in the city. We require to expand the city structure, so that the people living in the city & people coming in the city does not find any problem related to any living styles. The needs of people is increasing according to trend & thereby developing a city to smart city is essentially required.

Hi guys, my self Prathap.
If you consider my personal opinion in this topic Smart cities are really required in this developing country of India and I professionally and personally feel I appreciate the plans and policies running under NDA Government because our Honorable prime minister Mr. Narendra Modi is one of the good administrator and he is well planned manner also.
OK lets talk about Smart Cities necessities in India.
Yes absolutely its required for the upcoming generation Because smart cities are Eco-friendly with environment like. Less pollution, technically dispose of garbage system and sanitary problem,
And its include Implement of wind energy, solar energy, LAN internet connection proper transport facility, proper utilization of resources and improvement of IT in the local sectors. Before implementing this Government has to think our GDP level to invest to these smart cities our GDP is only 7.2 percent now moreover it has to focus Literacy rates are very less India here proper education for all the people of the country its take a grate role here because most of the people don't know about using of technology, make in India, Made in India and Digital India schemes so government has to create a awareness about that and with different programmes, yes this is the point is really required because without knowing the knowledge how we can use the facility, then before implement this smart cities Government has to solve the unemployment issues with attract the foreign investment moreover Government has to fulfill the basic needs for the poor people.
So, finally I can come into conclude the topic this is not the right time to Implement the plan it will take a longer time to establish with proper manner.

Yes, definitely we need smart cities as the main reason that we are striving these days is getting a good and better society. All the schemes and development programs like digitization is to see India as a smart one. This achievement cannot be sentenced in one form, the overall development of country leads to emerging of smart cities. And smart city in terms mean a technical and creative type of city, first of all to have these type of cities we need to develop many other things like good roads, developing villages, creating 100% employment and so on. If we see these changes, automatically the next step is creation of smart city by itself. And developed countries itself mean having smart cities. So definitely we need smart cities.
