Do we really need Smart Cities?

According to my point of view, in today's scenario, we want to generate new employment as compared to smart cities. We know that in India 10 out of 7 students are job seekers. So the smart cities and make in India programs are useless. Instead of smart cities we should give chance to make people's smart by giving them smart technology and proper guidance for cleanliness India. And proper training for assembling small scale industries. And motivational offers to improve their annual income for the peoples of India. As compared to smart cities according to my point of view government should take step towards the employment of youth. And provide job to the youth. If youngsters requirement will fulfill then India becomes smart automatically. We want smart rules as compared to smart cities. This is today's need. Gov should spend money for fight against corruption and sanitary facility. And education and for providing proper training and guidance for freshers.

Hi, I would suggest that India needs smart cities and many countries in the world have smart cities. What can't we just have few smart cities? Smart cities have ecological power, fresh air, Better transport which helps in development of industries. We need smart cities to get smarter and Globally Competitive. Thanks.

What I think is that everyone requires a smart city to live in. But we should follow certain standards and we should inculcate certain habits so that everyone lives happily together without affecting life of others.

Now, coming to the point a smart city is one which has all facilities from basic housing to school to transportation to shopping malls at the same place electronically connected with each other. Who will not be willing to live in such place where we don't need to go here and there for different things. But first, we should focus on making ourself develop. So it is necessary that we let our economy grow and we should contribute to it whole heartedly. We should try to reduce all those things which are making our environment polluted i.e. we should use more and more bicycles as it not only helps in keeping our surrounding clean it keeps us fit also. Secondly, proper sanitation facility should be available for everyone and all should start using toilets instead of using forest area or grassland for the same.

The most important is we should keep our surrounding clean and minimize use of plastic bags as from a recent research by scientists it was found that the non-biodegradable polythenes are the major cause of global warming. All the environment protection Act which have been issued should be strictly followed and those who are found disregarding it, rigorous action should be taken against them.

Once we follow all the above, living in a Smart City would be the best alternative.

But before developing we should change our think means develop of think like that our education progress, clean India, we should follow the rule of Indian constitution and then after doing these things we can get smart city automatically. I think if we start to clean our area ourselves, pay our electricity, water bill and house tax at right time which helps government to develop more in our area, then our cities automatically becomes smart cities. We only need to change the thinking of people.

Good morning. According to my point of view, a status of country depends not only on the cities but also on the village equally. Only making of smart cities are not enough to develop a country rather development of education, health, communication etc in rural area also play a vital role. So we have to develop cities as well as village also. If cities become smart then what happen if the people are not smart enough to use the service. So we have to look after of the people who are not smart enough to use the smart facilities. As we know in our country lot of people are illiterate, we have to educate them. However making of smart cities is a first step of going to a zone of developed country. For smart cities smart people are essential that should be our primary focus.

I agree with your point, the main prospect of developing smart city is to enable quality of life and this is possible with smart governance, smart healthcare, smart infrastructure, smart mobility, smart waste management, smart technology.

Making more efficient use of physical aspects like road, infrastructure, through artificial intelligence and data analytics to support strong base of smart city.

Yes, according to me, smart cities are needed as they are directly or indirectly contributing to the betterment of the society. They highly contribute in developing country because these projects would require manpower for development which will provide employment and business to the various sector. It is going to be a nice blend of infrastructure and technologies and can lead to smart villages in future.

In my opinion, we need smart cities to increase the status of living. And the first thing is to educate the people, clean our environment, pay our electricity and water and taxes on right time will automatically increase the quality of life. We have to give more attention on village's people make them enough smarter to use service.

Hi! according to my point of view, smart cities are necessary but before making the cities smart we should make our area clean because if we started from outside then & then only peoples will follow us, & off course, the smart cities will give better standard of lifestyle.
