Do we really need Smart Cities?

I think we need smart cities because smart cities provide us the latest technologies and with the latest technology we can do work with less time. With the help of smart cities, there are so many benefits for the city like clean and hygienic and fastest transportation because the government is willing to start the bullets train. What we should not forget our backbone that is the agriculture first we have to develop the villages we can provide them with all latest technology equipment for developing The villages. With the help of smart city is we can compete with the foreign countries as well. With lots of latest technology, we can reduce some working time. With the help of smart cities, it is we Who will get the most benefit of it. It Simplifies our work.

Yes, we need Smart Cities in India, it will help the country grow economically & technologically.

Smart cities will provide numerous job option to the new blood and it will help to boost the standard of living.

As we already know our metropolitan cities are overcrowded & polluted hence the concept of smart cities will reduces the burden from the metropolitan cities.

Yes, of course, we want smart cities, but thinking of want smart cities is not enough. We should, first of all, make our thoughts clear and make ourself smart, respect women (it is one of the cause to make smart city), focussed our goals, corrupted free person. I think if we manage all these. One day smart city will come into reality.

First of all, what do we mean by smart city?

It should have smart people, smart governence, smart mobility, smart in technology, smart in evironment development or say sustainable devlopment, and considering India as emerging power in world I think we really need smart cities. To compete with our enemies and to make INDIA reliable, strong smart cities mean a lot.

According to me, yes we NEED smart cities just not because other countries are developed. As we are a developing country. We are on a way to develop our country. It will give a good infrastructure, hygiene, cleanliness, and most important a good transportation. In any developing country, the transportation is the most important part of developing any country. As there will be a good transportation the cost of the product will decrease the transportation cost will decreases by having a good road facility. As India is a diverse country and if we have a good infrastructure and hospitality their will more tourist to visit India. And it will be good for our economy also for more development.

Yes. The Smart city is need of our future. If we want to become developed country then it's a better decision. From this way, we improve our lifestyle and we see the how our city become smart by using technology. It's very vital decision to take feet forward with changing world and make competition in positive way. Smart city is not dream it's our right. Today we are discuss about we really need smart cities. In my opinion. Yes we really need smart cities. Because smart cities are reduce the economic problem and pollution problem. But we have to some resources. (money and education people). But today life : education system is more complicated. For example: NEET exam (Tamil medium students doesn't understand the questions), Tamil medium student's can't speak English & other languages. So, first of all we are change to the education system. (to guide the students and social awareness and change to the old syllabus and include the CBSE syllabus in Tamil& English medium). Then smart cities means good transportation, education, physical methods (food, shelter, water) and reduce pollution, economic growth. Then, most important to improve the security system in India. (For example: recently - Ransomware virus is a type of malicious software that blocks to the access of personal data and threatens to public). So India provide security system and reduce hacker's. Then school and college to make a wifi system.

According to me, Instead of making cities smart, we should develop smartness in ourselves. If we develop good thing in ourselves like: use of dustbin, avoiding misuse of patrol, don't splitting anywhere, follow traffic rule, help human being, avoid corruption, good governance etc. So we don't need to make smart cities, It's develop by itself.
