Do we really need Smart Cities?

HI All,

We need smart cities because of it gives a lot of employment, the daily wage earners are not going to metropolitan areas to earning purposes.

Because of these smart cities, people are aware of the internet, what is the need of education, how to elect?

The Good politician without attracting money, all social activities they are seen.

But in My point view, Really smart cities are not required because of now our country faces a lot problems like food, poverty, farmers suicides, shelters, illiteracy like that.

Well first answering your question that do we need smart cities the answer would be YES. But not now as you might have witnessed That the GDP has decreased to 5.6% from 7% from previous year. And there are lots of serious issue which needs to be addressed first.

India is a huge country it requires a lot of funds for making a city smart and at the same time we have other issues like malnutrition, poverty, illiteratcy, unemployment. So these things need to be sort out first.

Government should emphasize more on smart people instead of smart cities, making people aware of the happening in and around the world. Sooner or later smart city will turn into the dull one if people aren't smart enough.

No doubt, smart cities will help our country a lot to proceed on the path of becoming a developed nation but setting up of smart cities is not an easy task. It requires huge investment both in terms of time as well as money. Instead, of incurring huge expenditure in establishing smart cities the focus should be on the development of backward regions. Imagine a situation where a large number of people are struggling to afford basic facilities and to find suitable jobs for them and on the other hand the country is focusing on setting up of smart cities.

In my point of view, yes we do really in a dire need of smart cities.

A smart city is not just about technology evolution and evaluation, but a development as a whole. A smart city is one which inculcates all specific needs, substances that is an aid to human as well as nation fundamentals. Smart city will be an entity, that act on skill development, make in India, digitisation, boost to entrepreneurial skills, environment, culture, tradition, and many more. Smart city as a whole represent the local, regional and national development, and will be the insurmountable success on the international platform.

Actually, we need the smart city. But the question arises is that how it would be. So, listen to a friend. Before it will be better that people should be smart first then our country get developed and facility comes in front of us then gradually our country become smart. Without the contribution of people and good thought, nothing will happen. So at first people should be smart. Thank you.

I think smart cities are needed for developing the country as well as providing better services like better sculpture, colleges, hospitals etc.

But in my view, in place of developing cities, we can concentrate on villages because in some villages basic facilities are not there for eg. If someone is suffering from a big disease they have to run cities because there is no facility in the hospital.

So instead of making India look good we should give importance to the public and make sure that the basic facilities are reachable to each and every Indian.

I would like to join with that point. Instead of making some selected cities smarter, we must focus on villages that not even have the basic facilities like sanitation, power supply, banking facilities. Agricultural needs must be monitored and provided properly.

Instead of focusing on tourism, smarter cities we must first take care of this.

In my view, development of cities are important along with the development of the villages. As the city gets smarter the ecological problems also increase. We first need to focus on the basic needs required by the people of this nation. Health, education, civic amenities, well-connected roads, drinking water facility etc are the basic needs we need in cities, villages.

Along with smart cities, there should be a smart village, which should lead toward a better production of agriculture.

Yes, I believe smart cities might increase the economy of the country if it is well planned.

But if we come across present situation even the metropolitan cities face a major problem when it rains there. That is a major area of the problem.

So, the government should make the cities smarter in a well-planned manner and should maintain the ecological balance.

As per my opinion,

I think Smart cities are the future of our country. But for that first of all we need to improve our rural areas i.e. villages of our country by making 24/7 water supply and power supply.

The smart cities are full-filled by education, health, services and this should be started from villages.

Yes, We need a smart city.

First of all, I tell you this mission started by PM Narendra Modi on a 25th June 2015. And 100 city under this mission and developed by a PM.

In this project, 45000 crores rupees under this construction. The first mission Started in GUJRAT in Gandhi Nagar and this decision is very good for every person in India.

Now, this generation smart cities need to help for developing countries, and it's So many problem and corruption in this country.

The smart cities provide 24 hours of good water, electricity, education, good health and hospitality also, etc

You can see that small villages are not getting a Good facility and not good transport they go to one place to another place in a few time.

Increase the use for CNG and electric car for locomotion.

So, I appeal to a government please improve the village area because they are facing many problems in the village.

If you do work hard than our economic and development problem will be decreased automatically day by day.
