Yes, it is true that some NGOs work for making money or for saving their black money and convert it to white money. However, there are some real good NGOs who also make money to sustain the lives of their sincere and honest workers and to sustain the organization in itself. Had these sincere people worked in the corporate world these might have earned in millions! However, they chose to help others. So does that mean they have no right whatsoever to earn money!

People not helping others want to earn millions and believe that those helping others should live hand to mouth. That is keeping double standards. I believe that those working for others should earn more than anyone else or at least at par with the world! Because they deserve so.

NGOs work for poor and I have seen NGO's working for poor.

I am also part of a NGO working for poor student in Uttarakhand.

This NGO provides fees, free dress and books to poor children.

This NGO also work for poor senior citizen, because in uttarakhand, It is a big problem, young people leave village to earn from big city but unfortunately never come back and their parents are there in hills without any support.

As some people said NGO's are mainly to save tax.

But the founder of this organization is a poor shopkeeper in Uttarakhand region and get money from the his friends, family and some generous people.

My personal experience is there some genuine people who work but there are a lot of people who takes advantage of this.

Hello all, I am glad to read each one of your comments in the thread. I agree that it doesn't matter whether an NGO is giving 100% or less but the positive point is that the NGO's are doing for the society i.e. educating, helping senior citizens, health sector, etc.

Though there are many fake NGO's who run it for their own selfish benefits but because of them, we cannot ignore the genuine NGO's who are actually doing good for the society and poor.

Bigger NGO's with known names only end up getting a donation from donors and all the funds from other sources while the mid-size NGOs struggle to get a donation.

Considering all this, we are building a platform to connect NGOs and donors together.

Hai friends I'm rakesh.

NGOs are generaly meant for working for welfare of society to gave qualitative food, cloth and education. It is ok. In any thing "like a coin has two faces" there will be good and bad. So, this ngos also are running by good and bad people. But when we see in practical in India nearly 40, 000 ngos are there which getting donations in crores from people, if they spend this ammount really for welfare of society therre wiil be no more poor people and illiterates but in practical there is poor development in society of our country besides govnmt effort apart ngos effort (nearly 40, 000. It means most of ngos are running by bad people. It should not not be good for country.

Hai ngos are really good according to my opinion. People who are all working in ngos came to serve the society. I think they have only one thought in mind they want to give something back to society, for developing country like India ngos are really helpful. I want share my experience with one famous ngo in andhra pradesh is nirmaan I saw people living there own jobs and working over there. They all are have only one passion, the rise of a great Nation. Around one lakh calls they are answered for vidya help line for career guidance apart from they have many activities for rule and government schools. So by this the are non profit organizations. They work for others for the nations.

Thanks.

Though most of the NGO's in India are working for the benefit of poor of India and demonstrate some field like health, education, food, providing home, safety and protection of women, animal, and senior citizen, trees etc. These all are noble causes, in today time most of people have sufficient money to purchase necessary things and well living of self and dependent members so they donate few part of their money to these NGO's. But like other professions there some negativity attach to it. Today's world is professional all have their families to feed and money's needed for these purposes also one can give his 100% to the organization only if there is no financial burden on him.

NGOs or non-government organization are organizations which provide basic needs to poor people i.e education medicine and employment etc actually NGOs are boon for poor people because it helps a lot but to provide basic needs is not a government responsibility to provide education is not a government responsibility to provide medicine is not a government responsibility yes it is government responsibility and government is not fulfilling it so a person which os not responsible to do any work doing work so how can we blame it so how can we blame NGOs if some corrupt people is present in NGOs we have to point out those corrupt people not, NGOs so I think NGOs are doing well

Hello everyone,

According to me, Many NGOs like Being Human in India are working really well and Providing better facilities to needy people for their welfare. As Always every system has Some good and bad. Many times listen that NGO Fraud, Scams and Money Laundering cases, therefore, most of people do not take part in NGO groups. In India, politicians use NGOs to convert Black money to white money. So most of NGOs are run by politicians so it is not a matter of interest, it is a matter of Money.

To rule NGOs properly, only interested people are allowed to be a part of NGOs. Lastly, I would say that NGOs should work like a god for the needy and poor people.

Thank you!

Every NGO's has their own goals to reach. For example, some NGO's aim at reducing unemployment while some others aim at providing education or shelter for needy. Their work should be appreciated as they are non profit and service oriented organizations. It is equally true that in very few NGO's the funds are being misused.

In order to overcome such issues, one must know how the money which we offer as funds is used by the NGO. Besides offering funds we must also accompany the NGO's (as a volunteer) in their working when we get time. Then we can know how the money is being used and we can also get to know their steps to reach their goals.

But NGO is the one of the god for the poor and needy persons. Yeah I agree most of the NGO are running for the own benifits. But when we talk about our youth they plays very important role in the NGO. Now a days very Popular and rel life example is in the Ludhiana, Punjab, India where the one persons aee the dream for running a NGO after 4-5years later they Succesful Our youth dream Like they Build NGO like this "They donnot accept money or things" this NGO is runniNg by Only our youth which they never accepts money from the donor they directly meed the donot to the patient and deposits they money in the patient id.
