Digital India is one of the most important initiatives that has been taken by the Prime Minister. It is among those projects which have benefitted the masses, irrespective of poor or rich, government employee or businessman, teens or aged.

We can relate to our childhood when we really didn't think of spending our leisure time with mobile phones. We might have played with our toys, went outside to play with friends, watched television, but nowadays the scenario is completely different. We are mostly indulged in the screen most of the time, whether studying, or playing, or chatting. Each debatable topic has its own pros and cons.

Some of the pros of Digital India is:

1. With the introduction of high-speed internet, various tasks which would have been done offline, in pen and paperwork, is done much faster at online.

2. Most of the Government sectors had already converted their work online, which actually benefits them by doing certain works in an organized manner.

3. In this pandemic, the students are most benefitted from this digital world, as their studies has not converted to a stagnant pool, but it can be carried out properly in the online platform.

4. Farmers are also benefitted by this digital scheme.

5. Organizations and companies are making a huge amount of profit, by doing their work online which actually benefits our country by increasing the GDP contributed by this industrialist sector in the form of tax.

6. People can do various types of transactional purposes instantly, including online shopping, money transfer, paying institutional fees, and many others.

Although after so many advantages, there are many cons which have to be mentioned.

1. With the introduction of Digital India, an increase in digital fraud has increased which can actually cause a person to lose all his lifetime income.

2. Various types of breaches in various companies that actually poses threat to the personal information of their clients. Most recently the breach happened in Air India posing a threat to 4 lac people's personal information.

3. Students are losing the habit of reading from papers, which at my personal level is very much important. Continuous staring at the screen will have an adverse effect of health.

As a whole Digital India is a mix of both good and bad, and thus we have to take the good sides and try not to absorb the bad sides or be the prey of bad sides due to our carelessnes.

Hello friends,

On this topic, my opinion is that, digitalization is very beneficial for us in our day to day life and nowadays in the 21st century it's being an essential need for us to compete with the world.

Due to digitalization, many things are changing in our lives. Digitalization is providing a large platform for us to learn anything from our home. With just one click we can know what's happening in the world. Also, we can learn from anyone in the world on the digital platform. For students, it becomes very easy to learn complicated things in a simple manner with the help of YouTube it provides an audiovisual mode of learning.

For knowing anything we just do Google it gives all information within a second. Nowadays we don't need to spend many expenses on books cause most of the books are available online.

Due to mobile or internet banking, it's very easy to pay our bills, transaction we don't need to face such a big queue and waste our time in that we can do all these things within minutes. Due to digitalization, there are many sources of information so we can increase our knowledge. Due to online shopping apps, we can buy anything from our home without going to rushy places and there we got a lot of options too. Now due to google pay and phone pay no need to carry cash with us.

We can connect to anyone worldwide through video calls in one minute. No waith is there as previously we do. We can buy tickets for train, flights, buses at any time and anywhere. 24hrs service is available due to digitalization. Before digitalization when we want to apply for any examination then we had to go that place and fill it from there but nowadays we can fill in any forms from our home. For getting certificates or documents from government offices we used to go there and wasting our time in such a long queue but now we can take all these things online.

There are some disadvantages of digitalization are too.

One of the most disadv. Is network issue in rural areas. And due to lack of knowledge of digitalised technologies to some persons mostly in old age group or in rural areas they are facing issues. Some teenagers misuses this internet facility and spends excessive time on social media and losing focus on their studies and that's why they are living in stress and mentally ill but it differ from person to person.

Overall digitalization is boon for us.

Digital India: initiated by the prime minister of India on 1st July 2015, which comes under the ministry of electronics and information technology, and suggested or under surveillance of Ravishankar Prasad and SS Ahluwaliya, in digital India companion 224. 5 lakh crore invested by top companies CEO.

This companion was introduced for making India crime and corruption free and to connect colleges directly to the government and to spread the government's scheme and work progress and to reach to the people,

The government of India have introduced a lot of apps for transaction or banking, for complaint, for documents, etc. And now, Under Pradhanmantri Digital Saksharta Abhiyan, government's officers are teaching the peoples from a village about digital India and how to take benefits of it by using apps.

Merits:

1: Making India a superpower in the world and empowering India to become a developed country from a developing country.
2: Internet user's increased by about 500 million as of April 2017.
3: Job creation:- 1. 7 crore direct jobs and 8.5 crores indirect job provided under digital India companion in BPO and many other Fields.
4: by installing WIFI and providing Hotspot can be used in the education system to upgrade it.
5: the ability to boost small and big business.
6:due to low use of paper and vehicles we are saving the environment.

Demerits:-.

1: India is not fully digitalized, it is semi-digital country.
2:due to low or lack of network, difficult to use apps and chances of failure.
3: can use it for spying someone by creating an app, someone can hear our conversation without doing anything in our phone, by activation of the microphone without coming in our knowledge.
4: privacy and security are the main issues.
5: the government must have to focus on water and oil/fuel related problem instead of making India digital because water and oil are in regular use.
6: making people effortless and lazy, which increases or leads to bad health.
7: by using the internet we are increasing radiation which is not good for the environment and also for the children or people.

Conclusion:

Digital India is a huge step toward making India a superpower and transportation from developing country to developed country, but the government have to focus on ground level problems which directly related to every people especially middle class and poor people.

In my point of view,Digital India is one of the most familiar word in these days.

Benefits:

1) The people who are financially poor can learn new things using digitalisation like learning from IIT lectures, learning from online platforms, learning through youtube etc.

2) We can connecting each other everyday.

3) We are getting to know about the current situations happening around us.

4) It makes the people to be more intelligent.

5) If some pandemic situations like corona we can gain knowledge from home using digitalisation.

6) It makes bank related operations easy.

I) Before Digital india, We have seen the situation in banks like when we want to draw money we have to stand in the line for so many hours to collect the money and each time we have to go to ATM or bank which sometimes so far and sometimes we have seen situations like some ATMs don't have money. If someone wants money urgently they struggled so much to reach the ATMs having money.

Ii) Before Digital India, We are not able to know where are the nearby hospitals. If some person is being illhealth they have to go so far to the hospitals as they don't know exactly where are the hospitals. After Digital india, we are seeing the nearby hospitals in our smartphones. We can even get the medicines through online which is so better than going to medical shops.

Iii) Before digital india, if one of the family person go to some different country or state. We are not able to connect them, to talk with them. But After Digitalisation, we can able to see, speak with the person who are in different state or country using Video chat like Skype, Whatsapp Video Call, Google Duo.

Iv) We can even arrange group meetings through online like ZOOM, Google MEET.

V) We can book a bus or train or plane or bike using online apps like Abhibus, Uber.

Vi) we can order food online using Digitalisation apps like zomato, swiggy, dunzo.

7) Entertainment plays a mojor role in todays world. If some person has good talent. They can showcase their talent through online.

8) Many people became famous through online.

9) Nowadays we can get everything online.

Digital India is one of the biggest boost for growing country like India. It is always a boon. I can say that " A person with electronic device like phone or laptop with good internet can rule the world from one place".

Digital India, if implemented just as planned, can actually make India stand apart from the other nations in a few years' time. Needless to say, it is beneficial to each and every citizen of our country, provided they understand their privileges and rights well. Here are some of the ways it helps people:

1. E-learning - With an eclectic range of open online courses and certified instructors offering to teach via the internet, this hassle-free learning is unprecedented. The flexibility of fee structure (some courses are even offered for free), timings and no-wastage of travel time makes this an extremely good option for poorer students, stay-at-home moms and anyone else interested to learn.

2. E-commerce - Benefits the consumers as it saves time, energy and is an efficient way to select from a range of products online and having the product delivered at their doorstep. Benefits the sellers as this doesn't allow for any undue advantage of location and transportation to companies.

3. E-banking - As obvious as this is, online transactions make hassle-free handling of money. Just having a phone to the supermarket is enough! Needless to say, this makes process transparent, and just like any other digitization, it saves a lot of time and energy.

4. E-sampark (Vernacular email service) - Not widespread yet, this facet of the Digital India campaign aims to align Non-English speakers with the digital world which largely uses English like in the e-mail IDs.

5. The BharatNet program launched by the Indian Government aims to strengthen internet services in the rural areas. Village People will be educated on digitization under the Digital India initiative so that nobody is left behind when it comes to development.

Having said that, it is imperative that the government take steps very carefully to implement this as the criminal mindset isn't getting any better. Just like people don't have to travel for shopping, so do robbers. The thriving internet can be used just as well for the evils like terrorism, scams, brainwashing, cyber-bullying, hacking and fraud. With our personal information now digitized, the threat increases. So it is very important for us as citizens of the country to be aware and cautious and for the Government to be concerned yet proactive.

According to me, Without digitization, it is impossible to boost our economy.

As we know India is a developing country and digitalization is a the only way Which can save a lot of time of any work. There was a time when one has to stand in long lines for atm transaction, getting a ticket, buying the product, etc.

Now all these works can be done by just one click with the help of digitalization.

It helped every sector of people. Some of them are:

1. Education - now anyone who wants to improve his knowledge can learn from the online portal for free. In India, a no of the lecture are created daily on youtube daily which can be watched by any student just by his smartphone with zero cost. A lot of teachers and professors are now teaching online, providing notes in affordable prize. Also in this pandemic, the states of India are creating an educational app for their student to continue their study.

2. Banking sector - as we know banking helps a lot to boost any economy. Nowadays all types of transactions like sending money to someone, fee deposition, recharge of phone, buying a product online, etc can be done just two to five minutes with the help of online banking. We can also apply for a loan as well.

3. Agricultural - as we know India is an agricultural-based country. And now farmers can get a lot of information about a scheme launched by government which was not able before digitalization. They are also able to see weather forecasting, technology in agriculture and even can get a loan for farming like government provide loan for fish farming.

4. The service sector- now all type of service sector uses technology for providing better service like online ticket booking, online application for driving license, Aadhar card, PAN card, online tax submission, and many more.

People whos is physically challenged can not get benefit from online shopping sites, online food delivery apps, even in some cities few supermarkets provide the facility of home delivery of groceries, fruits, and vegetable which are a great relief for these people.

Digitalization also helps in reducing corruption. But there are several areas of India where internet literacy is too low as compared to well-developed areas so first, we should try to educate our people.

Hello everyone,

As we all know that every century had their own characteristics for which that century was especially know for likewise this century's special thing or you can say the main moto of this one is promoting the use of more and more digital items such as e-payments, e-learning, e-commerce, & many more. This digital itself is telling it's meaning i.e. it is a series of digits 0 & 1 with the help of which a digital programme is prepared and then it is used in various ways depending on its different types of purposes for which it is made. This has merits as well as demerits, so first I would tell about merits.

The main reason because of which this digitalization is spreading is because there is need of more accuracy in our tasks in less time, now a days in market there are much alternatives present if one can't fullfil requirements on time there are others who will definitely snatch that opportunity from your hands so this will be achieved only when we will improve our technologies with time, and the best example for it is this corona pandemic because of which there was a lockdown and that was a phase in which we all were locked in our houses and all the income sources of the people were slowly reducing and it was a scenario that was too close to economic crisis but all thanks to this "digitalization" Due to which other ways to earn money through different methods rised people came into frequent use of digital devices and many other methods different from the authentic one for small startups also, a new source of learning and getting certificate from all aver the globe emerged not only these but there are more points why this digitalization is getting more and more important day by day.

The demerits of digitalization are, that it is much applicable in the countries which are developed countries rather than in developing countries because there is a no. Of people who are not aware of these digital things, who are not even aware of how to use it or how can they make profits with low budgets, on the other hand, there are some people who are misusing it like frauds, because of which person's trust is not being built up which also plays vary important role in less usage of digitalization.

Thankyou.

Digital India is the initiative taken by our government and PM Narendra Modi to blossom our country digitally. It empowers each and everyone of country. According to my perspective it brings transparency in governance, digital India provides online platform for the citizens this platform engages citizens with governance in which each and everyone will able to to interact, discuss and give solutions to different problems that we are facing and it will maintain the transparency between governance and citizens and come up with innovative solutions.

There are many important projects comes under digital India which makes day to day life of many of us easy and faster by providing digital platform where we can store our crucial documents online with the help of cloud technology and according to me this is the great idea because every time it is not possible to carry important documents with us and in need, we can access our documents anytime anywhere in just a click also it makes everyone aware of technology and innovation.

This is the era of technology and social media, using various social networking sides we are spreading awareness, digital India comes up with online scholarship platform wherefrom form filling to disbursal everything done online with ease. The main goal of this initiative is to reach each and every corner of India, and make all services available to rural areas which include healthcare service, transaction service, employment chances, and making each and everyone aware of technology and makes India digital.

Even though government of India is trying hard and putting all efforts to transform India there are still many regions which lack internet connectivity there is a lack of internet neutrality, lack of literacy, lack of data security, and lack of adoption rate, misuse of social media is increasing were fake messages are spreading, fake applications are finding there place on our smartphones which creates the barrier. Many of these problems needs innovative and practical solutions. We all should support this growing concept of digital India and should aware of the frauds, dangers and we should update ourselves for the upcoming challenges.

Hi everyone,

The given Topic is digital India.

This was a programme initiated by or prime minister of India. It is one of the steps that the government of India has taken to move ahead from being called as a developing nation to a being called as a developed nation.

Every coin had two sides and similar is the case with digital India.

I would like to put my view of digital India.

ADVANTAGES:

* It helps the student community because nowadays there are many online courses that are available and students can also put their queries and they can get their answers.

* There are some other apps that help the students as well as the job seekers in finding the right answers for the questions that could be possibly asked in their question papers or their interviews and therefore helps them to achieve their goals and targets.

* Time can be saved because of the online transactions that are taking place.

* The risk of carrying amount reduces.

* It made our lives easier by allowing us to now see the train or bus schedules online and also allowing us to book online.

* less infrastructure is needed like we need only a bank account and have a good internet facility.

* Since everything is linked like the Aadhaar is linked with the bank account, there is less possibility of black money.

* When there are online payments made the ATMs used for withdrawal of money is less and therefore the fraud of copying the pin code of the debit card and making a similar debit card reduces.

* Information is available to all at any time and any place.

DISADVANTAGES:.

* The illiterate are unable to use this digital platform but the government is making an effort to educate all by implementing new schemes to educate all and make them skilled.

* There is a risk of hackers.

* Good internet facility is yet to be established for all which is in the process by the government of India to provide internet facility to all by 2020. And I hope this will take our country forward.

* some people feel insecure to use this platform.

* Well, so hoping for a better economy, these points are from my point of view.

* You can add many more points to the discussion.

Thanks for reading.

Hello everyone.

My name is Ankit, and I am here to give my opinion on the given topic.

. Digital means doing anything in online mode without being physically present.

. It is a great initiative taken by or pm Narendra Modi in July 2015.

. Digitalization benefits everyone because it saves a lot of time, it saves our physical presence, keeps us safe where ever we are.

Here we are reading this post it is also due to digitalization.

. Before digitalization for small works in bank, we had to spend the whole day in the bank by standing in a queue waiting for our time to deposit money, withdraw money or to open a bank account and there was time limit also that we had to reach in the bank on time (around 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. But now after digitalization, we can do it in minutes and there is no time boundation also.

. There are a lot of platforms in online mode from where we can withdraw and even can deposit money without wasting the whole day. Some of them are, Google pay, Paytm, Yono SBI etc.

. We can earn money also by doing work from home without going anywhere at our home we can earn a lot of money some sources to earn money online are teacher points, YouTube, freelancer etc.

. We can study at home with great quality of education by well-qualified educators. Every type of knowledge there are available in online mode and they are free of cost also. On Youtube there a lot of professors, Itians, IAS exam qualified teachers teaching and guiding students.

. As every coin has to sides there are also some disadvantages of digitalization.

. The biggest challenge is security, if security is not good then any hacker can hack our data.

. The second disadvantage is about education, in some rural areas people are not so educated hence it is very hard for them to use all these resources.

. The third disadvantages is that digitalization is possible due to the network and in rural areas, there is a lot of networking problem so it does not work there.

In conclusion digitalization is time-saving, no need for physical presence, cashless, there are some issues the government is doing a lot to improve.

Thank you all for reading carefully, please do like my post.
