Democracy is Hampering India's Progress

Today everything has changed. Democracy has become corrupted. So I think it is our duty to serve our own country. If every person took steps to do something then there will be development. I assure that one day our country will be a developed country.

I think democracy is not hampering the India but its because the way we use our democracy. We should feel proud as India is a democratic nation. And it gives us various right to use it.

We only continue to blame our government system but we could not able to see the other side of the coin. All illegal matters bribe offered by corrupted people. And we are the only one and it's our sole responsibility to stop all these things.

Indian constitution gives us right to vote to choose the right people as an administrator. So we should respect our constitution.

Various policies offered by the government which helps the every citizen of India. But its need to be updating as per the current situation. Its should not take a week to solve the case where it gets solve in 5/6 days.

* GDP growth of India is the highest growth rate in the world.

* India stands on second as largest economy.

So we need to restructure the definition of democracy to use it wisely and not for hampering.

I don't think that it's democracy who is hampering the future of India but it's the Indian system who is the root cause of such problems.

Democracy is actually not hampering the Indian progress. It's some of the corrupt people of our country who are ruling the country for the sake of their luxurious life and not worthy fame. Half of the country people are corrupted and this process leads ahead till now with no full stop in between. Democracy is the best thing which India have it as a wealth. It should not be blamed for hampering the Indian process rather the corrupt one should give the punishment of black water.

Yes, according to my view democracy is hampering the progress of the country. Government as well all citizen are responsible for the development of their country. In the case of India, every citizen who is 18 years old has a right to vote. There is vast strength of illiterate people who cast their vote for religious, cast influence and used to go in a wrong decision by either their own will or by regional political threat. The government is unable to get them full welfare as mediator are everywhere to grab the money. Finally until unless we choose the right government we want to be able to contribute to the development of India.

India is a rich country, but people think low. Democracy is we need, but not like this type. People were there before in agricultural sector only, but nowadays people likes to work in all the sector with the time frame. This needs this time, in journey, any work. After 60 years of independent also in democracy, we can't get jobs to people in India, food, shelter why because of age old politicians. Their money minded killing the patience. Why we can't get some revolutions.

Like,

1. Like in other countries can't we restrict politicians age to contest in the election.

2. Big national parties have to trust young ag e (not the same family) people.

3. Stop giving money to voting in rural or in slums.

4. Educate the democracy.

5. Expose bribing to media, educate the people not to give bribe.

We need politicians as, need to hear the problems facing, need to do good infrastructure to commute, need digital facility of one touch facility.

For that restrict the age of the politicians contesting election.

I am a citizen of India, I should love my country & Democracy system. But one of the Major, Fault in our Democracy, except India other country people are getting job or duties only for merit basis but in India, people are getting job, cast bases, so funny, A 78% obtained marks holder can't get job, but 38% marks holder got the job easily because He/She belongs SC Caste.

Now 70 Years Independent Day have finished still they are backward. So should be changed. Otherwise, our country will not be developed. Like the USA, UAE, Canada, UK, People are getting the job, Merit basis, so these type of country develop.

Our Democracy is hampering & going to much more lose very soon, Except India, you never see any other country people are getting job caste bases Like USA, UK, Canada, UAE, people are getting job or duties merit basis, they are searching only who is capable? Who is perfect? Who is active? & those types of people are getting job or duties.

But Very sad for Indian Democracy system A perfect Candidate can't get any duties because he is belonging General Caste but he has obtained marks 78% whereas an SC Caste candidate can get job easily he got only 38% So it's a shame for Indian democracy system now 70th years Indian's independent day have already crossed. But still, Indian democracy can't adjust the backward people.

The idea that few hundreds of people can represent the interests of hundred crore people is a naive imagination.

If you can't trust people governing themselves, how can you trust them giving power to some other person who pays no price for being wrong? Power is a primitive idea of well-being. Good politician or a bad politician, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Good govt or bad govt, govt makes people's lives difficult to live.

The governance of modern and evolved society is carried out by the market economy and selfish, profit-motive and innovative entrepreneurs. Not by primitive ideas like political power.

Yes, democracy is hampering India's progress. In India, you can not get a job if you are talented and belongs to general category. But it provides jobs for less educated people if they belong to sc and st. The government sector is filling with corrupt people. And talented people are leaving the country to get a good job. And the cream mind of India is used by other countries and becoming more developed than India, so in my opinion, democracy is hampering India's progress.
