Hi friends,
I agree with the suggestions given by my friends above. I would like to say that it starts from our home to keep it clean.

Its all about your attitude, we are not throw waste in our home but we throw to street while traveling and also when we saw waste or dirty things in house we clean but when it is in street or road we will not clean or even not to look there.
We think it is not part of our duty and its the duty of authority to clean. Its the problem our attitude, we should change this and at least try to clean street, road etc what ever you can whether it is a small part. Its good and good for the country like entire people will do like this. It results the cities will clean and results the whole country clean. It's results the growth of our country.

My topic is cleaness of our surrounding.
Anything which is taught at an early age remains firmly implanted in the mind. It is essential to cultivate good habits at a young age, and cleanliness is one of the most important.
Being clean and tidy is important. Cleanliness should start with personal hygiene. It is crucial for people to learn about hygiene, and the various diseases linked to lack of it.
From a very young age, formation of certain habits like washing hands before meals, regular brushing of teeth, and bathing are a must. These are entirely personal habits. And, since we live in a society it is essential to follow certain rules like keeping our surroundings clean, avoiding littering in public places, refraining from spitting on the road, and many more.
Any habits, good or bad, taught or even picked up at a young age, get embedded into one's personality. Unfortunately, today, many adults themselves do not set very good examples of cleanliness. In fact, habits like smoking, chewing tobacco and betel leaves, and spitting on roads and sidewalks, are a sick heritage handed down from our parents and elderly relatives. Many public places used for defecating are left messy and stinking, leading to any number of diseases. There is a dire need to educate and sensitive people about the importance of cleanliness in light of our faith.
Litter on roads, polluted water bodies and poor sanitation make excellent breeding grounds for creepy crawly pests. Medical research has discovered that rats, mice, cockroaches, flies, and mosquitoes serve as hosts for transmitting disease. Lack of hygiene is an open invitation to infectious disease.
Cleanliness, if we may say so, can make the difference between life and death. A healthy environment is necessary if we want to stay healthy. If the environment is dirty it badly affects the health of the people living around.
Wherever we live, it is important for us to keep it clean. Let's start with our individual homes. If our homes are clean we will obviously enjoy a healthy life. And in society it is the responsibility of each and every human being to maintain certain hygienic standards. A clean environment, besides being a pleasure to live in, is a healthy environment.
School and other educational institutions should spread knowledge on importance of cleanliness by adding it in curriculum and Textbooks. Demonstrating cleanliness in school premises, involving students in cleaning activities is a very good way to spread awareness about cleanliness.
Importance of cleanliness can spread to the masses via the online and offline media. Various educational programs can be showcased by the media on importance of cleanliness, which would show the advantages and disadvantages of cleanliness.
The importance of cleanliness cannot be ignored in individual as well as communal life. On one hand it is an important factor for human health and spiritual development; on the other hand it is essential for environmental development.
Our planet Earth is known as the 'GREEN PLANET. ' It is the most beautiful planet in the whole Universe. The Greenery of this planet is like the Green Belt of the Earth. The development of this green belt is in our hands. We should keep our Earth clean and green.

We should stop the use of plastic because when we throw plastic out it doesn't rot but mixes with the soil so the soil loses all its fertilization and so plants cannot grow in that soil.

Hi everyone, this is Aditi!
Thank you for your wonderful thoughts! it helped me for my school project. I would also like to include my thoughts about the topic. It is our responsibility to maintain hygiene in our country but the government should also take initiative. They should provide proper drainage system, build roads and encourage people to plant tree.

Hello friends this is Khushbu, I would add my views on the topic cleanliness. Cleanliness is a very important in today's life. I think it should first start from our home then school or colleges then streets and etc.
There should be new laws punishing or imposing fines on the people seen throwing garbage or doing related things. Youngsters should take initiatives. Rivers are the major resources used by people, so they should be also cleaned regularly also not should be polluted.

Today and from many years we have been talking about cleanliness, but are we doing it?
It is just in papers not in action. Will these really help us. You will be thinking that why I am so negative but the thing is that I had to be after seeing the things. It is worthless of making or creating such movements because our Indian attitude will never change even after the Swach Bharat movement taken on SECOND of October people who collect the garbage found a lot of garbage where this movement took place. Now it is impossible but lets wait for the future.

Hi.
Its me Ehsaas.
In earth we live, the relationship of the human being with nature is based on accountability and friendship, not enmity or devastation. God has created the earth for the comfort of human beings, so an enabling environment for their advancement and excellence can be created.
If we don't clean our environment then it will affect us only. We can't just blame the government or the municipality for everything. If we observe and think it over, none of us gives due consideration to our surroundings. We arbitrarily build houses, wherever we like or we just throw around things we consume.
And though we realise that our kids are too young to take the garbage out, we assign them to do so. They are too short to put the garbage inside the container, so they just throw them around the containers. This is why garbage is everywhere.

"Cleanliness is next to godliness". This is a common saying which we have kept hearing from when we were small, but I hardly see anyone following it! as responsible citizens we must strive to keep our surroundings clean. It is our duty and responsibility to not litter our beautiful India! Cleanliness also teaches us to be disciplined and organised.
So hope you youngsters think about it a little and spread the message to keep India clean! The best place to start is in your own homes. You can become an example for many other people!
Thank you!

Everyone dreams of a dwellings well maintained, resourceful, comfortable and on the top it should be 'clean'. Isn't it? Likewise India is considered to be the motherland of every Indian. When India is the abode of every citizen then whose responsibility is to make it clean. It is the fundamental responsibility of every Indian to maintain its prestige, its beauty.
The beauty of India can be maintained through cleanliness not only physical but should also be mental. Clean India mission should not be the tenet of a single person, rather it should be followed by all of us. It is not very difficult task. It can be done simply by not throwing waste here and there.
