I go with the motion that it should be allowed, if there is no fear of death for wrongdoing then it would exaggerate the crime rate and leads to pile up the jails and courts with criminals.

Capital punishment should be given because every criminal should be fear to do anything wrong but it should be given to wrong person.

But it should be given to wrong doers not to right person.

What is the porpose of giving punishment to someone?

Punishment is given so that a person can realize his fault and can regret that. So of if we allow this and snatches the life of someone, the very purpose of punishment undermines somewhere. It is not a mark of civilization. I wanna let you know that violence is violence whether it is done legally or illegally. Well the most important, since life is the property of God not of a man so the exclusive right to terminate it itself lies in the will of God, not on us.

Yes, It is not the right punishment. As pain feel by victim may be mental or physical is not imaginable. Country like Saudi Arabia gives such a dangerous punishment that no one could dare to commit the crime, but they don't use death penalty directly.

India is in need of such thing as rate of crime is increasing tremoundsly, for the safe future we have to take some concrete step as fast as possible.

It should be banned because in my view its a small punishment for those criminals or are murderer and rapist. Because they can't realise every time their mistake. Punishment should be like for them what kills them all the time and gives pain them. Like on the open road among all the people they should be beaten by the hunter until he died.

Because in the place of capital punishment is not a good idea lifetime imprisonment because we can't risk for another crime that criminal would escape by power and again commit a crime again.

Hello.

I think it should be allowed because the criminal doesn't have any right to do such ca rime which other has to suffer.

In case, if we banned the punishment other criminals are free to do such things which is not acceptable.

According to me, the death penalty is not appropriate because life is precious, we need to forgive them by anyhow being human we need to love each other.

Hello, I think Capital Punishment should be allowed as when a person commits a crime (in the case if CP was banned) he or she would think it's not much of a big deal to commit a crime and even he/she goes to jail would try ways to escape/bribe/offer bail. Even when we take a terrorist or a criminal who has gone beyond his/her limits by committing a serious crime, (if C.P was banned) we put him/her for life imprisonment giving them severe punishment. Then this instead of removing the thought of doing crime it would increase the anger of the criminal and force him/her to kill the one who is giving severe punishments.

Penality death should be banned because this is not right decision, punishment means an extreme heart pain which result to relalised the mistake of that particular person but in penality death it becomes the end of life of that person, so this is not good. In our contribution there is freedom law to right to live but in penality death it brokes the law which is illegal in our law but penality death is. Ilegal why? And there is also the fact that if we have to right to born then why I have the right to death?

Obviously, the capital punishment should be banned. Kill the crime and not the criminal. Many liberal democracies are completely pro-life when it comes capital punishment and as a result a lot of their prisons are running out of criminals. Whereas in a country like India, where capital punishment is quite common, You might find high rates of crimes. Social Awareness is the way forward, Many of the criminals are victims of social trauma and psychological trauma. We need to understand their condition before commenting about the punishment they should get. Rehabilitation is a must in prisons. I think countries like India should retrospect the methodology of dealing with criminals in the European democracies.
