Hey folks.

I believe that holding an Olympic in our country at this time is not a good dream to be dreamt of if we go according to our economic burden we have other aspects of society to look on. Like.

In India 2.1% of disabled are there.

In terms of global index for women empowerment, global openness, criteria of living, we are lacking behind from our neighbor countries too.

The first job of ours is to raise our standard, then only we can think of dreaming something big like Olympics.

Hello Everyone,

According to my point of view, Dreaming about something can never go wrong but for changing the dream into reality we must become financially strong, technologically forward and corrupt free country. India is a developing country and yes it has more percentage of youth than any other country, definitely, Olympics will raise the youth interest towards games But before all this India must become capable, as hosting such an event is a big responsibility. A country must have good infrastructure for this as well.

After few years when India will be developed then only we can look forward towards hosting Olympics.

Dreaming about it, working towards it, changing it into reality and then successfully organising it will be a great achievement for the country.

Thank You.

In December 2012, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) suspended India's National Olympic committee for not adhering to the former's rules and regulations and for planning to appoint corrupt officials in India\'s National Olympic committee.

Even after this incident, Indian Sports Minister Jitendra Singh is optimistic that the dispute will be resolved and that the suspension will be lifted. For the suspension to be lifted, it is important for the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) and India's National Olympic committee to follow IOC's guidelines and rules.

First and foremost, IOA needs to amend its constitution and ban corrupt officials from taking part in IOA's elections. IOC has accused IOA of giving precedence to the Indian government's Sports Code and ignoring the Olympic Charter.

The Olympic Charter clearly states that there should be no government interference; however, the IOA did not abide by this rule and allowed the Delhi court to interfere with its operations.

India\'s dream of hosting the Olympics is not shattered yet because IOC has not de-recognized IOA. IOA has one last chance to make amendments, and if it is successful in doing so, we may be bestowed with the opportunity of hosting the Olympics.

Sadly, the animosity between IOC and IOA is great - IOC has refused to compromise on ethics and has given IOA a last warning. If IOA refuses to abide by IOC's rules or fails to make the necessary amendments to its constitution, IOC may de-recognize IOA at its executive board meeting. And this would shatter India's dream of hosting the Olympics.

Despite IOC's repeated warnings, IOA continues to defy the former's orders "in fact, on October 27, 2013, the IOA special general body held a meeting to amend its constitution but proposed referring the cases of corruption to its own ethics committee, which will then decide on the fate of the accused.

IOA's repeated defiance towards IOC will prove to be costly "IOA may be de-recognized and Indian athletes may be barred from participating in the Olympics and the Asian Games.

IOA will be holding a general body meeting in New Delhi on December 8, 2013, and it is hoped that the meeting will help resolve the dispute between IOA and IOC.

If all goes well and IOA agrees to follow the rules set by IOC, India may be given the privilege and honor of hosting the Olympics.

However, if IOA continues to defy IOC, we may have to bid adieu to our dream of hosting the Olympics.

Yes, we dream of hosting the Olympics because India is very developing country. India has the ability to do Anything. Yes, it is true, some disadvantage of hosting the Olympic but it's not meaning India not hosting the Olympics. Corruption in every country we do not say only India is very corrupt. Apj Abdul Kalam says that we are not criticizing government we are the youth of Indians and have an ability of youth change the world. Don't stop dreaming. I believe that very soon India is a safe the position with the very fast developed country. So I am saying that we can dream of hosting the Olympics.

Thank you.

Of course, we must,

India is a developing country not only in terms of economics or science and technology but also in sports, India has given some serious sports men to the world from last so many years like Marry Kom, Milkha Singh, Sachin Tendulkar and many more. I believe India is a talent hub when it comes to sports. And I believe giving the opportunity of hosting Olympics will give birth to much more legends and will also become a platform for the talented youth of India.

Yes, we can dream of hosting Olympics. But for hosting Olympics India needs to be stabilized economically, socially and politically.

- As we know the Commonwealth games held in Delhi in 2010 lead to many controversies. The infrastructure was not good, there were no proper provisions for the people as 71 countries participated. There were many scams too.

- Hosting Olympics is not which India can't do or is not capable unless it does not use Olympics a business.

- Moreover, India requires a huge amount for hosting Olympics which is not possible at this moment due to demonetization, as our country is still not stable economically.

- We have to improve the infrastructure as many countries participate in Olympics.

- We need to train our players and provide equipment and proper diet for the players of our country.

- One of the reasons is also security issues, which is a major problem of our country.

If all these problems are resolved and India becomes a developed country then for sure India can host Olympics. But for now, our country needs to invest more in education and infrastructure.

Hello, friends.

I accept that we need stabilized economy to hosting the Olympics before that we have to take over the politics in game and as well as in our Nation. If this happens, then we can surely host the Olympics.
