Hello,
Why will India dream of hosting Olympics? Is it that important?
Yes, the reason for hosting Olympics is the desire to show pride in their country, the eagerness.
To be in the international spotlight for two weeks, the opportunity to bring new jobs into the.
Community, and to build up tourism to that city and country.
Now as India is developing nation there are certain parameters on which they have work, security.
Issues, media coverage and most importantly 'Olympic Village' which house the athlete's sports arenas and.
Systems. India has to focus on these parameters and the challenges faced can be political and media.
Interferences.
India already had conducted Commonwealth Games recently which gives great exposure for conducting.
International-level tournament. However, this also exposes the lack of management, corruption.
And political interference in sports.
It is an honor for a country to host Olympics and if India can withstand the commitment of getting.
The above said facilities and improving in required areas I think there is no harm in dreaming of an.
Olympic's hosting. And the time is not far when India will host the Olympics with dignity.

Yes, we can conduct the Olympics in our country as a developing country we should also take a leadership role in organising the Olympics in India.
Land of 135+ millions of people we should also spread the message of awareness of sports in our lives which helps to keep us fresh and healthy in day to day life of a human being, but.
As India is 2nd most populated country in the world but the contribution to sports in India is not good and we can see only a few Olympics medals in our country. As a citizen of India, our main aim is to spread the awareness of sports to youth so that in the coming future we can achieve more medals.
But conducting the Olympics is non-profit activity but there is a requirement of huge expenses which is not good for a developing country like India.
Instead, we shall contribute the money for sports encouraging purposes and providing essential requirements for their improving skills in sports.
My conclusion is that there is nothing impossible to India but there is just a requirement of will if there is a will there is a way. So, India is the land of millions of youths so it's their future to decide the Olympics in India.
Jai Hind.

Yes, we can certainly dream of hosting Olympics but it is going to take us few years to accomplish this dream without compromising nation's development and people's needs. India is a developing country and is facing problems like poverty. Unemployment. Malnutrition and many more in almost every sector. So for the time being, it should concentrate and invest more towards these issues.
If we talk about the finance required for hosting the event, it is approx 50,000 crores. India can afford that but this will mean more of taxes, less of subsidies, less budget for health and education, inflation. This will suffocate our development and will take us back to where India was after the 2010 Commonwealth fiasco when the hosting expense was over 12,000 crore and the total budget for the year was only 1,860 crore!
Before realizing this dream, the govt should plan the resources well, get a balance between nation's development and the hosting of the event and also encourage the Indian private billionaire companies to invest in the event so that the govt treasures don't get exhausted. And then the dream of hosting the Olympics will not be far-reaching.

India is one of the top developing countries in the world with maximum FDI inflows. Almost, all MNC's have their offices in India which state that we have developed from what we were ten to fifteen years back. If the country can have sports legends like Sachin Tendulkar, P. V Sindhu, Milkha Singh and numerous other on the list then, in my opinion, our country is capable of hosting the Olympics.
If we minus the scams of commonwealth then the current scenario of the country provides us with the resources of hosting Olympics. Our county country has hosted the world cup, Asian games, national games, Brics summit.
The current ministry has capable ministers to keep a proper check on the allocation of funds and hosting an international sports event like Olympics will only add to the glory of the nation. We do not need only a developed nation to host the event but a nation that can survive all odds of hosting the event. India has now upgraded itself and moved on higher rankings in all the fields. It's high time that the country should take a step ahead and initiate to host the grand event because we can do it!

After all we are also human beings, we also have some dreams for our country. Every Indian would like to see Olympics being hosted by India in future. But there are a few draw backs why it's not being held. One of the primary and main reasons for which it's not being held is that it's for Corruption, Black Money, Bribe and Politics. The second reason is that Sports in India. Atleast, 75% Indian parents and teachers concentrate and force their children for their education only. They don't give important for sports at all. And even if they did also, the sports selectors will only allow candidates to perform who have given Bribe to them. The money which comes from the government to the authority for upgrading the stadiums, courts, grounds and for the infrastructure purpose goes into their own pockets for their house hold purposes. This is only called corruption. That is the only reason why India cannot get medals like U.S.A or China in the Olympics being world's 2nd populated country. But still, it's not too late. If the corruption and bribe stop trust me India will come first in Olympic Games.

Yes, we can dream of hosting Olympics. But for hosting Olympics India needs to be stabilized economically, socially and politically.
- As we know the Commonwealth games held in Delhi in 2010 lead to many controversies. The infrastructure was not good, there were no proper provisions for the people as 71 countries participated. There were many scams too.
- Hosting Olympics is not which India can't do or is not capable unless it does not use Olympics a business.
- Moreover, India requires a huge amount for hosting Olympics which is not possible at this moment due to demonetization, as our country is still not stable economically.
- We have to improve the infrastructure as many countries participate in Olympics.
- We need to train our players and provide equipment and proper diet for the players of our country.
- One of the reasons is also security issues, which is a major problem of our country.
If all these problems are resolved and India becomes a developed country then for sure India can host Olympics. But for now, our country needs to invest more in education and infrastructure.

Yes, we can dream of hosting the Olympics but Olympics require lots of things like money, fame, good players, infrastructure, best hospitality and many more high-class facilities. It is good that our country can dream of hosting the Olympics. We do not have to go outside to see the Olympics. Peoples from different countries will come to India to see the Olympics. But before that our economic status must be good. Our country is free from corruption and black money. Nowadays our Prime Minister is trying to make "digital India". Hosting Olympics is also a good step towards Digital India. There is a very big problem in our country i.e. many poor people do not get food and they are sleeping hungry. They are suffering from many diseases and they do not have money to pay to the doctor and lots of them are dying. The black money which government is getting from rich people must be used for poor people betterment. So I just wanna to say that before hosting the Olympics our country economic status must be improved and everyone should get the food properly and all are literate and have employment.

Hi Everyone, I personally feel that India's next shot at hosting the Olympics 2036 is really not a great idea. In the recent past, nations have incured losses as part of hosting such a big event. Corruption has been the biggest reason behind the same and India is no different. The Commonwealth Games of 2010 still show us how some high ranked people around us make it a way to fill their pockets instead of conducting an event properly.
Adding to all these headaches is India's poor infrastructure when it comes to some very important sports such as swimming and events related to the same. India is not having world class aquatic centres as of now to hold it. It would absolutely mad and sad if India is prioritizing a single event over the future of the nation. India do need better faculties but for the champions in out nation and not for any single event. Moreover, the nation needs to improve in sports first before bringing such big events to this soil. Else their won't be any Indian spectators in majority of the sports complex due to low participation of Indians themselves in these events.

Yes, we can dream of hosting the Olympics. But in future, not now. Because in current scenario there is more unemployment, illiteracy, poverty, health issues etc. So first government should focus on these things after that government of India can dream about Olympics. So whatever the funds are there with the government first they have to use it for unemployment etc. But to conduct Olympics there should be a good infrastructure and all. In our country only for cricket and hockey, the good infrastructure is there. But for remaining games, there is no best infrastructure available. To accommodate the athletes and the international people there should be a best hotels etc. So India should construct infrastructures first.
The advantages of hosting Olympics is.
1) international recognition to our country.
2) if our country media will give broadcast to international media then we can get our money back.
3) India will become the best tourism place i.e 4.
We can showcase our country's different cultures and traditions tho foreigners.
4) more investments will come to India.
Thank you.

i.e If India can believe in hosting Olympic games then it can be true in reality not suddenly but certainly.
The countries, which host this event, are developed already but our nation is still developing & growing. We are not economically very strong that we can host this event right now. India has to be corruption free, terror safe & financially very much healthy. I won't talk about Commonwealth games (2010, India) & its drawbacks because it was our darkest past. We are now looking for our brightest future. Yes, we can think of hosting this mega event. For this, we need to well infrastructure, huge fund & facilities. India needs to internally and externally safe & secured nation from a terrorist point of view. Almost 200 nations & thousands of athletes will participate so we have to take care of them.
Dreaming is good & if we can be social, economically, mentally developed then in next 20-30 years, India will jump one step globally by hosting Olympic games.
