In our country, I think development of infrastructure etc is done only when a major event takes place like the commonwealth games which we hosted in 2010. The roads flyovers security maintainence everything got a boost. Though the amount required is huge but it will definately attract the attention of the world and foreign investors will be eager to entire into business in India. Hosting Olympics is a big task but at the end it will not only benefit the economy of India but will also boost the future of sports.

We should but not now. Since there are many problems are to be solved by India like poverty, cleanliness, corruption, population, unemployment for youngsters. Also, peoples in India are still deprived of basic needs. Also, the environmental issues are there. Still, in India government doesn't focus much on good training for other sports other than cricket. We first encourage other sports in India. Also, corruption in sports organization should be stopped. Then only India could dream of Olympics in a better way!

India should host the Olympics as it would contribute to India's GDP and help to boost India's global standing.
Also, India has so many talented athletes as well as really good infrastructure to organise the Olympics like the Narendra Modi Stadium, etc.
But we should also take the time to look at the ongoing / happened situation in India, the India-Pakistan war. Right now, India should invest in important fields like defence. After overcoming these problems, India is ready to achieve a milestone in this too.
Also, India has so many talented athletes as well as really good infrastructure to organise the Olympics like the Narendra Modi Stadium, etc.

Hello everyone, At this time, when an economy is not stable due to demonetization, India should not host the Olympics as it requires a huge amount of rupee as well as the infrastructure and Olympic is an international game, requires a business environment to manage it. In short, India is a developing country, not a developed country. Before dreaming of Olympics India should concentrate on Literacy rate, economy stabilisation and also for the infrastructure because these all requires for hosting the Olympics.

Indian economy is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, conducting Olympics may slow the growth and may boost it also, conducting global events is a thing that turns the worlds focus towards us we cannot deny such an opportunity. When we talk about expenditure, a systematic, transparent, and dedicated work can not only reduce it but also opens routes for foreign investments also. Hope in coming decades our dream come true.

It depends on 3 major factors.
1. Is India is safe country - yes India is safe country.
2. India is having enough popularity for every game - yes indians are crazy about every game.
3. Economic:
This is only but major problem tht India have. Until or unless the things lyk corruption nd other connected things which affecting the economic of country is nt uprooted. It is nt stupidity to hav olympics in India. Because food for the people who doesnt hav it is way more important than the olympics for India.

There's nothing wrong in dreaming of hosting the Olympics, but we also need to consider other factors like the money the government.
Need to spend on infrastructure.
As of now, around 64 million people in India live in slums, millions of people live on the road side footpaths, the money could be spent on building infrastructure for these people.
What I want to say is India already is struggling with poverty so it's unnecessary to spend millions of dollars for an event just to show status.
There's nothing wrong in dreaming of hosting the Olympics, but we also need to consider other factors like the money the government.

As Olympics include mostly all countries over the world, as in the recent past Olympics 206countries participated, this will be a good beneficial step for all the people from the world to know about our country. The Best way of publishing is the one who feels it rather who knows about that from other, so the voice of power is the best option for the good development.

Yes. India is capable of hosting Olympics. We have already hosted many global events successfully like CWG in 2010, latest FIFA U-19 world cup, ICC Cricket world cup, etc. Government is also paying attention towards the development of sports infrastructure and sports culture by initiating events like PKL, khelo-India, ICL, etc.
We still need to separate/remove politics, scams and corruption from sports before bidding for Olympics. It will help boost India's image as sports loving country.

I think we can definitely dream of hosting Olympics. It has nothing to do with what is going on in this country as the country is generally benefited from the profit which is generated after hosting an Olympic event because these events are funded by the respected authorities and that too ample of money. Our economy will also rise because players and guest from all over the world will be here boosting the hotel industry and buying all sought of local stuff which we shop when we go out at a new place.
