Can we dream of hosting the Olympics?

Well, being considering the current scenario in our country, I think hosting Olympics is like a tough stuff for us as we are lacking behind in our basic requirements of employment, education, illiteracy, providing the necessary and building block of life such as food, electricity to villages. And hosting of Olympics requires a lot of part of investment for that we are not in position. Secondly, people here are crazy for Cricket, they don't even know about the other sports and their rules and regulation hence hosting Olympics is worthless. So first we have to encourage the other sports and sportsman in that field.

Yes, we dream of hosting the Olympics because India is very developing country. India has the ability to do Anything. Yes, it is true, some disadvantage of hosting the Olympic but it's not meaning India not hosting the Olympics. Corruption in every country we do not say only India is very corrupt. Apj Abdul Kalam says that we are not criticizing government we are the youth of Indians and have an ability of youth change the world. Don't stop dreaming. I believe that very soon India is a safe the position with the very fast developed country. So I am saying that we can dream of hosting the Olympics.

Let me precise to the point yes India can dream of conducting Olympics because is one the largest economy and then sports in India is now in a developmental state and the interest of conducting Olympics has been diminishing in all other countries because of the expenditures caused by the Olympics but when we conduct Olympics it will not only improve our sports but also tourism in India.

Every coin has two sides likewise conducting Olympics may lead to excess outlay due to Olympics and it requires more space to conduct the events so with the right plan we can conduct Olympics.

My answer to this question will be a big no.

Although India is capable of organizing, but it will require a huge amount which India can't afford at this point of time.

India lacks stability economically and politically both. We all are familiar with the scam that occurred in 2010 Commonwealth Games. India is a developing country. Instead of spending a huge amount on Olympics, Indian government can use the funds for benefits of our farmers and the citizens of India. Olympics will lead India towards economy slowdown which will lead towards economic crisis. So its better to backout from organising Olympics.

Olympics is not about winning, though medals mean a lot, Olympics is about the spirit of sports. If we are given an opportunity to host the Olympics, I think it's a great privilege. And if we think positively our performance in last 2 Olympics has resulted in improvement in sports infrastructure. Stadiums, sports clubs are been constructed many tournaments are been organised. The career of sports is been looking brighter in India then anytime in the past. Now if a mega event like Olympics is organised in our country it will take Indian sports to a next level. I think Olympics can be hosted in India.

As far as i am concerned, we could dream of hosting Olympic without thick about poverty issue because we are sixth richest country in the world. Hosting Olympics will benefits in many aspects to Indian economy.

* More tourists will come to our country which results in will make our economy stronger.
* In a political point of view the relationship with other countries will also get stronger which will good for us.
* And our children will also get inspire with sports and also take interest in sports.

Definitely, India can host the biggest game tournament in the world. India is one of the biggest economies in the whole world. Hosting the Olympic games in future in India will lead India to a high level in sports.

But if we see our history of medals that we won in Olympics is not so good. So I would suggest that instead of investing in Olympic games hosting the same money may get invested in the development of sports in India.

Because we will get more honour if we win many more Olympic medals rather than we got the honour by hosting the Olympic games in India.

Yes, because we can dream anything. But it's not necessary that we can fulfill our every dream. As of now, we cannot say that India can honestly host Olympics due to its dirty politics. As we can be seen in common wealth game 2010, how much the Indian politics affects the event. Here I admit that India has an ability to host the Olympics but as we know one One Bad Apple Spoils The Whole Barrel. In a similar way, a single corrupt person can change the whole game which we already have seen in Common Wealth Games 2010. To remove this discrepancy we first must remove the corruption from our country.

There are no taxes levied on dreaming. And what I think is we are already working hard to achieve a good position in the world of Olympics. With great determination and willingness to achieve something, nothing's impossible. Basically hosting Olympics in India is like a goal. And there are many things we need to fix up while slowly moving towards the goal. Like proper road facilities, giving importance to different games and not only cricket and achieving economic stability. If we, in the near future are able to achieve this, then I believe. India will surely host a major Olympics event.

Olympics is an event which would bring fame to the country. Instead of attaining that fame and showing progress. Better to focus on various issues in our country at this point of time for growth and development of our country. Take the example of China were on children are encouraging in sports right from the school but whereas in India we are not at all concentrating on extracurricular activities. So in my view, first individuals should be enlightened the importance of sports and right we are not in the situation of hosting the Olympics which should be better to procrastinate for a few years.
