Working on a corporate is only the state of a person. Actually what decides is the state of the mind. If a person is having heart to contribute there are so many ways you can contribute to society like monetary, mentoring and guiding, being role model, understanding others etc.

Good afternoon everyone,
Yes, a person employed in the corporate world can contribute to the social sector by doing various activities such as a Tree plantation drive at weekends (Saturday), also By donating blood during blood donation drives and in some cases, they can teach children living in slums where the students parent can't afford to send their childrens to school also there are various way they can contribute to the social sector such as paying taxes, use of public transport. It depends on person's value and beliefs.

Yes by being in the corporate world its possible to contribute to the social sector. As it's our moral responsibility to contribute to the society. Individually it can be bit tougher but norms or measures undertaken by the top management people of the company can be followed which is in the direction of goodwill of the society.
As there are no. Of companies which are company in front with measures which are for the society. For example- p&g donate rs. 1 on every purchase of its product for the education of the poor people. Similarly there are TATA which believe in ethics a lot which again in favor of the society. The body shop realize the importance of nature in our lives and they urge to protect the environment for our future generations. Likewise there are number of companys which are performing such kind of activities.
These kind of acts create an good image of the company in front of the customers. So this will have great impact in front of customers and customers will also get emotionally attached with the company.

Hi friends,
As per my view every person has some responsibility towards their society. Because we born in society, we lived in society, then when q arises about social responsibility why peoples are keep quit. They gave the reason we have no time? what should I do? Despite your busy schedule why they took d time for their own society, where the new future are born.
Actually people Wants only money For their Bright Future. But future is also depend on society.

Yes! Contributing to the social sector doesn't mean giving your 100%. Its just a matter of 1%. Many of the corporate sectors are off on weekends, Taking out some time for some social cause would really make a contribution. Many of the students working on college projects do surveys by visiting the NGO's just for the sake of completion of their tasks. In this case when you are getting something from the society why not contribute to the society.

Depends, you know when a person fix a goal like earning more profit, increasing sales it is very difficult to respond to social needs. If he respond then he made to sacrifice some benefits like more profit.

I support shelly for his point. Many corporate companies are finding enough time for social sector depending on the interest of their employees. Many organisations are providing special classes for rural people during weekends, conducting sports meet for school childern in the nearby villages.Tata is one best company where you can find such works on large scale. So everyone can contribute to social sector even though he is in corporate or some other field.

All of us can contribute even in a small means in a small way. It can be by being a part of any social activity or by helping people in own society or a organisation. Corporate life is never ending, its upto us how we manage the time. Contribution to social sector doesn't involve a daily basis effort. So, just a initiative is required, rest where there is the will there is the way.

Yes, it can be possible if ones have the desire to do social service. We are all part of a society, so we should do something for a society. If he is a poor person if he has the desire to contribute to society he will do it by servicing. But he /she is a employed in corporate world, he /she certainly contribute to social sector. Because corporate sector obliviousness provide high salaries. So they should cojtribute to social sector.
