As per my point of view,

Cricket is a great game which is played by the players with dedication for their nation. More over it includes each individual players passion and commitment for the game from their childhood. The Players who are having that much passion and well played players are selected for the national team by their cricket board of council.

So I'm trying to say that the players can't be blamed for involving in spot fixing because their aim is to present victory in each and every game to its nation to prove their patriotism which unites a nation. The players won't play the game for money but for patriotism and passion.

Hence its the dealers who tries to trap some excellent players into the fixing by their cunning mind. They are to be banned, because sometimes players are threatened by their personal issues. At that time they are pushed to the corner of fixing by the dealers.

So the ICC should take appropriate action to prohibit fixing and dealers.

Yes you all might be right cricketers should be blamed for this evil crime. I know and everyone knows this that how much put in it needs to get your faces in TV screen AND people enjoys every glimpse of yours. In fact cricketer are also human beings.

They are not god who cannot commit mistakes. They have learned nothing but the cricket so we can enjoy at our stressed sitting in our AC rooms, watching them playing, jumping like hell and all that. All we need to blame is the system who keep check on spot fixing. They can spot the spot fixing after it happens but can, t stop before the scene. If they can't track the bookies then they should handover there job to someone else. Anyone can be distracted from his job. At Least 1 chance should be provided to them for the sake of so much years of their pain. Yes yet its cricketers who are to be blamed.

Why not ? Even though they are getting millions , even though they have immense fans' support , they are still hungry . I can't understand them . They have struggled for years to gain a place in the team , they stood as the representatives of a historic nation . What more do they need to fell proud of themselves?

In my view , Match - fixing is something like selling our mother to someone as a slave. It's really shame upon their part . Because of such stupid malefactors , the entire team has to face severe criticism & bear many doubtful questions which pain the innocents.

Those who do Match Fixing should be treated as terrorists . On seeing the way , they are being humiliated , no other player should at-least think of Match Fixing. The BCCI should carefully watch the players and remove if there are any weeds in the team .

Good Morning Everyone,

Today's Topic is very interesting "Are Cricketers to be blamed for Match Fixing or not".

In my point of view blaming for match-fixing in not good because if any player does not perform well then everybody blamed the cricketer but it is wrong,

Sometimes it happens that cricketers can not handle the stress and pressure and they do not perform well. It is not right to blame any cricketer for match-fixing just like.

In 2019 Virat scored around 77 runs and this man is play a major role in the victory in that situation anyone can not say how much stress on Virat and he perform well.

And if in any match any cricketer does not perform well that we blamed the cricketer without remembering the performance in previous matches.

That is why in my point of view, Blamed cricketer for match-fixing is not correct.

Though match fixing is not a good deed, but its not a crime.

All human beings commit mistakes and so do cricketers. Many of them are pressurized and threatened by bookies. Unfortunately some of the cricketers fall prey to these bookies.

A good investigation team should be appointed to look into the case and if the players are found guilty there should be a life ban on them but they should not be punished because cricket is just a game and fixing is not such a dangerous crime. The life ban is enough and more than even a death sentence for a cricketer.

To conclude I must say to a certain extent cricketers are to be blamed for match fixing but if there is a good system to keep track on them and bookies can be arrested before the fixing takes place, it will be better for that player and moreover for the country.

Thanks.

Cricketers are to blame and also not to blame in this situation. Each cricketer must think about the reputation of the country and his family before entering into the world of match fixing. But if they are threatened by the bookies they usually have no choice but to give in. That's what the police and the investigative agencies are there for. They can loge a complain against the bookies but they're too scared to do it because they think too much about what will happen afterwards, not realizing that they will always have the support of the their huge fan following whatever they do - only if it is in the interests of the country, the team and the citizens of the country. I would suggest that the coming generation try to pull out the ills of the society by it's roots to prevent any further humiliation or embarrassment.

Hello friends,

According to my point of view it is yes. Cricketers are to be blamed for the match fixing because it does not matter who is behind the scene but it is players who commit mistakes on the field deliberately for the sake of money and betrays our trusts and also defames the name of our country on the international level. A player can prevent the match fixing to occur if he is determined to not let it happen by letting it know to higher authority if any other player from the opposite team or any other persons from outside approaches him for doing so which is unacceptable. Cricketers who come under the purview of match fixing must be forced to resign from all forms of the cricket and strict penalty and punishment must be enforced to stop these kinds of activities to happen in future.
