Good morning.

Some people usually says advertisement is waste of resources but in my point of view stopping advertisement to save money is like stopping our watch to save time. The main motto of advertisement is to create awareness about product. It is not only helpful to producers to increase their business but also helpful to the customers to know more features and offers of the product. Then only they can compare our products with other other brands and they can decide which brand to buy. Sometimes, Advertisement emotionally connects the product with the customers. It creates a face value in cutomers mind. We can use brand ambassadors to promote our products so that people can blindly remember our product. But as a human, we should remember our responsibilities towards the nation and do the advertisement in a legal way. We can attract people but we shouldn't affect the people. Even healthy food acts as poison if we take more than a level. We shouldn't find cutomers for products instead we should find products for our customers. In my view advertise our products by using digital ways is the best strategy instead of using handouts. Which indirectly saves our resources by saving the paper.

For a company, advertising is not a waste of money since it has a larger opportunity to gain the particular type of attention of the customer and also is the best way to reach the more customer. Initially, it has spent larger money for advertising but it gives benefit for a long time and this spent money is supposed as an investment for a company.

At the India level, India is a fastest growing economy and being a 3rd largest economy of the world in GDP terms and it is a country having 2nd largest population in the world. So for any company India is being a better market to gain profits by reaching more and more customer through advertising.

But in another hand, I am not supporting to fake advertising, taking a small instance- I could not understand that Fair Lovely, a fairness cream how can help a people to achieve success in the life or availed a greater job opportunities, the are many people who got huge success in the life without Fair lovely cream and this is fact that this is not a right manner of advertising.

So I think advertising has always beneficial for the company as well as to the customer if done in truly and right manners.

As per my opinion advertisements are not wastage of money, as we all know the competition in business is increasing day by day as government allowing FDI and liberalizing the laws for the globalization. This results in the immense competition for that there is needs of advertisement.

1. Let me explain this in with example i.e. NIRMA which was famous brand in the India but the now with products of the HUL and P&G but nirma couldn't survive reason may meany but important reason is publicity advertisement that foster these brand to lead the market.

3. Advertisement comes under the promotion and the promotion is one of the P of marketing which play huge role to promote the brand, products feature, innovative products.

4. Advertisement is boon for the business for sale the product overseas with help of social media marketing and many more tools.

5. Advertisement is tool to create the create good image of products in mind of customer by hammering the products brand as we always buy well known brand though the feature are same as the non advertisement products bit what matters is the the trust and awareness of the company.

Thank you.

Advertisements does have its own pros and cons, but the pros weight more over the cons. Excessive advertisement helps the brands get recall and it keeps hitting the top of the mind recall of the consumers, viz. , when we talk about toothpaste the first name which comes to our mind is COLGATE/Closeup. This may be a small example of pros of advantage. However, putting ourselves in the consumers place.

People think that advertisement coerces to buy a product. I strongly beg to differ on this, one needs to be rational before taking decisions. Every brand races to be on the top of mind recall of the consumers, it is entirely upto the consumer to not do impulsive buying of things rather act rationally while buying any thing.

Just imagine how would life be without advertisements, we won't have the awareness of any thing and ultimately blindly believe the retailer for whatever they have to offer. Advertisements helps in making informed move.

Things have really improved of late with the consumer forum in place, should you feel misguided about a product you can knock on the doors of Consumer forum and get a resolution on your door step.

As per my opinion, in this real world it become necessary for every company to advertise their product to increase the sales of the product and make every consumer to know about product clearly with a few lines of advertisement.

Advertisement emerged as a boon for company to sell their product and to get know about the product to vast area even in the rural area by telecasting it on TV which is best mean of advertisement,

But advertisement also through many disadvantage as the company who's product is not good but by the mean of advertisement they will be able to sell their product which may have harmful effect for consumer.

So I think it has both advantages and disadvantage.

If one see advantage then.

* No company can increase their market value and selling of product without advertising their product.

* The great brand like Apple, Microsoft have immense value in the market domain but still they advertising their product with their own way of Course.

* Advertisement provide a platform to extend the reach of their product overseas by other means like social media like Facebook, Google+ so on and by using different tools.

Good morning everyone!

In my sight, "Advertising is not a waste of resource".

What advertising means, is something and everything of promoting a product to the potential and mass audiences in a layman perspective. But it is a huge concept, not just a product can be marketed, resources too.

Consider Banas factory, a leading manufacturer and supplier of milk made products to "Amul", they market their resources i.e. "supply chain management", to the large audiences.

Now, the question arises - if one proposed advertising is a waste, then how it is plausible to communicate your product to your customers?

Advertising is completely a boon, it is a platform where one can segment mass, selective, and niche customers in just a span of time.

Advertising is the resource, by which one can convert a customer to the consumer.

Advertising has many faces, if one talk about a peculiar promotion, that too plunged in the advertising community.

It is one prerogative, to which medium they choose. It is due to advertising, one can expand, diversify their declining product, sales, innovation and invention.

Thank you.

Hi Guys,

Guys I'm not going to open any new thing about this interesting topic but yes trying to give something useful light for us.

Advertising is all over gaining knowledge about the things because we get aware of the things with the help of advertisements. Advertisement gives us a specific face of the thing so that we can recognize easily for buying or applying things in our life as we sometimes get confused that which one we use or apply and then we call the add and buy or use the same one because a proper add gives proper knowledge along with great feelings in within.

We all the people always want to buy something but in absence of proper knowledge we get nervous that how to perform in this situation and sometimes we try to pack up from that unaware situation, you are new because you are away from add or there is no add for that one and in result you have kneeled yourselves.

So being a hero be a part of gaining knowledge from the adds so that you may handle the situation well.

So, I can't say that advertising is a waste of resources where it one of the best way for growth.

Thanks.

Advertising is far from being a waste of resources when done strategically; it’s one of the most effective ways to grow a business. The perception that advertising wastes money often comes from poorly targeted campaigns or a lack of measurable goals.

In reality, modern advertising allows you to target specific audiences, track every click or conversion, and adjust strategies in real time for better results.

Good advertising builds brand awareness, attracts qualified leads, and nurtures customer relationships. It ensures your products or services reach the right people at the right time, creating opportunities for both immediate sales and long-term growth.

From my personal experience, I worked with Logelite Pvt Ltd for my advertising needs, and I was very happy with the outcome. They crafted well-researched campaigns, monitored performance closely, and optimised them for maximum ROI. The results proved that strategic advertising is not an expense but an investment that delivers measurable returns. When done right, it can be one of the most powerful tools for scaling a business.

I don't agree with that advertising is a waste of resources rather producing something without advertising will be a waste of huge amount of resources used for production, because consumers will not come and just knock the door to buy the product unless they know about the product very well. So there is a need to make the people know about the product and that is done by advertising.

Another reason is that, whenever someone goes to a shop to buy something they recall the list of brands in their mind i.e. brand value, which plays a major role in the sales of a particular product.

Now the question is why do they advertise repeatedly? This may be due to the fact that every day there is a new brand in the market selling the same kind of products, so people will easily forget about the product. So in order to keep the product alive in the mind of the consumers, it is extremely important to keep on advertising. So we realize that advertising is not a waste of resources.

Hello, according to me advertising have their own pros and cons. People in rural area get the brief idea of product so they can choose the best. Advertising is necessary for social awareness for example add of vaccination, Shiksha abhiyan and so on. One should choose the correct media for advertising. Instead of wasting papers or paying crores of rupees to film stars one can advertise its product on social sites, as the whole world is accessing these sites. People are not so much illiterate that if the famous film star advertise any product that doesn't mean most "revital". How many of you are having this product?Lot of money get wasted by promoting the products by celebrities. This money should invested in improving the quality of product.

So finally I want to say that advertising is important but not wasting lot of money. One should choose the best media.

That is all I want to say. Thank you.
