Brass gets discolored in air because of the presence of Hydrogen sulphide.

It is because the presence of a mixture of hydrogen and sulphide and brass is a type of thing which has a colour very light and the mixture is non-temperature (hot and cold type of temperature) so it gets discoloured.

Brass is a type of alloy which is made with Cu and Zn. H2S gas react with Cu will give CuS precipitate which is yellow colour.

Yes, H2S is the correct one because sulphide gas is poisonous and if it is combine with H it becomes poisonous acid so it makes brass discoloured.

Because H2S is a bleaching agent.

Because H2S is more reactive.
