It can never possible, with hydrogen sulphide. If brass gets rusted then, first of all, it must be break down into hydrogen and sulphur, but oxygen can be found in free with maximum no of molecules hence answer should be A".

In my opinion option A is correct as we see in fruits such as apples and bananas they get brown colour in coming in contact with air and because of oxygen it is.
