Salinity of the sea water depends on the surrounding land mass. Due to the water run-flow from the land some minerals dissolved and added to the oceans from billion of years. And also by, waste from animals living in oceans and there are some other reasons also. After big bang surface and the core of the earth were highly temperature passes of time there created many large holes on the surface of the earth.
At the meantime, there was heavy rainfall about 200 cores of simultaneously the water flowed from the surface of the earth and finally dropped into that holes. During the flowing time, various kinds of salt mixed into the water and thus the water became salty. And if the vapour 1-liter water then you can get about 3.5 g salt. And total water of the world only 1% water is drinkable.

Seawater or salt water is water from a sea or ocean. On average, seawater in the world's oceans has a salinity of about 3.5% (35 g/L, or 599 mM). This means that every kilogram (roughly one litre by volume) of seawater has approximately 35 grams of dissolved salts (predominantly sodium (Na+
) and chloride (Cl-) ions)
) and chloride (Cl-) ions)

Salinity is the measure of all the salts dissolved in water. Salinity is usually measured in parts per thousand (ppt or).
The average ocean salinity is 35 ppt and the average river water salinity is 0.5 ppt or less. This means that in every kilogram (1000 grams) of seawater, 35 grams are salt.

In the open ocean away from land the salt content (or salinity) of the seawater tends to range between 30 and 35 ppt (parts per thousand). This is equivalent to 3.0 to 3.5 % (or parts per hundred).

Common salt is Nacl. Which is made by NaOH and HCl. Which is called saltand the amount of salt present in sea is called salinity. :).

Salinity means. How much salt dissolved in it. Below 5ppt called fresh (mitha) and 5 to 35 ppt sea ka hota h. Please convert it in%.
